There were 16k 'away' fans when Cov played at St Andrews in the cup weren't there. It's a load of nonsense.Safety is not the issue for gap it’s police allowing up to 6000 away fans

Highfield Rd home capacity was about 19500 with the standard away allocation. Think it was 21500 for the Derby game as they reduced their allocation22000 home supporters also fills Highfield Road to the rafters with about 1500 not being able to get in
I’m really not explaining myself well. The police limit the away supportHarder to police surely??

How many people were hurt at the Derby game? How many were physically assaulted in the ground? How many handbags were damaged?I’m really not explaining myself well. The police limit the away support
The club say the away end is it’s own area - 6000
Block 13 is not related to safety it’s a decision taken in light of the derby game
Does that make sense
Taken by who, that club? That can be easily reversed then and another block we can get on saleBlock 13 is not related to safety it’s a decision taken in light of the derby game

I don't see why the police need to reduce in the number in the away end. Is that for all matches or just the Birmingham match? Either way it doesn't make much sense. The game at St Andrews with the 50/50 crowd wasn't an issue and logistically that would be much harder to police give St Andrews is in a built up area

I think they are part of the 6000 away allocationWhat about 11 and 12? How do we ever get those blocks back?
Pete, I don’t think you are defend the position, just repeating the rationale they have given you. It is, however, a totally overblown response to what was far from mayhem. I was taken aback on Saturday by just how many stewards there were facing to the two sets of fans who were separated by (not literally) acres of space. Must have cost a fortune.Dunno

I’m sure it did. Can’t people just watch a game and not run towards the away fans or on to the pitch?Pete, I don’t think you are defend the position, just repeating the rationale they have given you. On that basis, home support should be limited numbers as well! It’s explained in the notes
The higher number the higher the risk of knobheads. We know this to be true!!!
Club I reckon with advice. Doug will want it open for the extra money
Perhaps you could ask the club for the numbers.Dunno

I don't get it. If you watch the highlights from Blackburn when Wilson scores he runs over to celebrate with the fans, they completely ignore him and run straight past him to have a go at the Blackburn fans. How does that thought even cross your mind when your goalkeeper scores a 95th minute equaliser.I’m sure it did. Can’t people just watch a game and not run towards the away fans or on to the pitch?
They should be able to, but all the empty seats and stewarding didn’t stop the pitch encroachmeant.I’m sure it did. Can’t people just watch a game and not run towards the away fans or on to the pitch?

Boddy explained it by talking about risk and police limiting numbersSo why not sell them?

And then we'll have those cringy "Loyal Supporters" chants from the self declared proper fansLet’s not get too worked up about it. It’s going to be a great crowd and as long as regulars have got their tickets I can’t get too excited about whether it’s say 29k or 30k. All the day trippers will booo and fuck off at half time unless we’re 3 up anyway, so we’ll probably be back down to normal crowd numbers by second half
So after these sell , that's it right ? Besides block 13 and the balcony it's sold out View attachment 29162
Guarentee someone will be sat in my seat come KO and tell me I’m in the wrong blockAnd then we'll have those cringy "Loyal Supporters" chants from the self declared proper fans

PreciselyIt’s not

Number of away fans is police advice but club saying the away end is it’s own area of 6000 seats. So if they limit away end to less than 6000 there will be naturally some seats in between.Im lost mate. What is police advice and what is optional because of low sales?

Block 13 is choice
It used to , I remember leeds fans upto the metal barrier.. you could smell themSo the away end goes up to 12?
I’m not sure I was trying to work it out on that map. I can ask boddySo the away end goes up to 12?
