Id take a point but think we will win 3-1
Gyokeres x2 and Ohare I think they will have a field day

As long as we don't lose, and don't get any injuries (not asking for much!) I quite like the idea of watching the lads battle in a snowstorm, if just for the novelty value !!

Don’t want this called off - really looking forward to it.

Enough positives to take from Wednesday, which I hope is a turning point.

The pitch will likely be even poorer than last game, but I say we have enough technically able players to cope and if we use a high press with COH, Gyokeres et al we could really see the benefit.

Selfishly I feel nearly normal after covid so I’m looking forward to having a nice beer watching the game today.

3-1, why not. Gyokeres, COH, Ostigard.

My only concern is a few more injuries being picked up on a pitch that was already looking bad on Wednesday. Most games we win we are also required to lose a player to long term injury!

Sheff Weds Dabo
Millwall Godden
Wycombe Kelly
Cardiff Marosi

I'd spotted that too and tried a thought experiment. If we got 3 points but lost a player to injury each game, would we be safe from relegation before we had a team which was so weak it would likely lose every match?
I figured the answer was yes.

Birmingham's home form is absolutely shocking. 8 points at St Andrews out of 14 games. We've got 21

There must be some extra bite to the fixture simply because the landlords can't be seen to be losing to the tenant right? I'm sure the Birmingham players will be reminded of that little titbit, and want to avoid any such embarrassment for the club.

Conditions today are probably when we could do without mucking around too much at the back, as much as I like our passing game. We make enough errors without a sticky pitch adding too it.

Trouble is I think it'll play into Brum's hands as a more direct game will probably suit them. Also with Biamou's injury a heavy pitch could see him injury it badly so IF Baka could give us 90mins of the cameo he showed midweek he could be useful today. We'd need him to use his size fully.

Also given that I'd consider bring in Fadz for Hyam if we're expecting a lot of direct play, even though i'm loathe to change a defence after a clean sheet (but we've got to with Dabo out). Hyam can head stuff away but he could do with a rest and a heavy pitch is going to make any fatigue worse.

Can really see a season ending injury occurring to someone today.

Unless there’s a fuckton of snow in the next 2 hours no chance it’s cancelled. There is literally no snow on the ground about 4 miles as the crow flies from St Andrew’s.
It's not the snow that will be a problem it's the amount of rain that there's also been all morning. The walsall match is off with a waterlogged pitch, hopefully the drainage has been working well.

Yeah, will be very wet for sure. But this morning hasn’t added that much more to it so would’ve expected them to have postponed it by now if it was unplayable.
