IF there is a deal it wont be paid upfront........ it will be dependent on appearances, they are not going to pay out millions upfront then get caught out by him breaking down next month. His injury was serious possibly career threatening, they will know that and have full medical disclosure on it. Factor in their own money problems and it isnt going to be the deal many of you see as happening.

Might even be a loan deal with a view to purchase in January or next season.

So does that fund the club massively, do we get good value for Turner, is this just another CT story ?

We won't see the money for players even if there is any truth in this (at the most 500K which we'll waste on an unproven L2 player). And agreed, we won't get value selling him before he's proved his fitness, just a clause-laden deal like OSB mentions above. A smart business brain that understands football would realise that, but we don't have one of those on the board-and they just want to cash-in to avoid their puppet-masters having to lose/invset/spend/waste any more money paying the bills.
