Was Lloyds against Ipswich, he was happy with that wasn't he, brilliant.:)
That's an interesting one Bry.
The link says that they are the goals from 86/87 and our kit would confirm that. We didn't play Ipswich that season.
...........just found the clip. It was v Chelsea on 14th February 1987.

First season having a season ticket as a young 16 year old and what a season.
Never missed a game of the cup run either with my mate.
Thanks for those great memories mate and it saddens me to see where we have ended up with a once proud club.

I believe scoring goals is 50% mental (maybe even a higher percentage). You can have the hardest most accurate shot in training, but unless you have the ability to be in the right place at the right time and composure to execute the shot, you wont get many goals. And obviously, due to their rarity, players who have that ability cost money.

The best striker I've ever seen for us was George Hudson. He could do it all, silky smooth ball skills, great header, shoot with either foot, very composed, hardly ever missed a chance. A player like that comes once or twice in a lifetime.

Thanks for the link - pure magic that got my heart racing a bit, even after all these years. Wasn't Houchen an underestimated player btw?

Everyone of the tossers from richardson to septic seppala should be made to watch this over and over again and then asked why theyve destroyed our club and proud heritage

Yep you're right, TBH when I watched it this morning the reason I thought
It was ITFC was of course the kit but also when running and celebrating,
I thought he passed Eric Gates on the halfway line. But now I think about
It he had probably retired by then.
Ahh, bless my puddled mind.:)
