Its the Friday after thanksgiving where, in America, they start Xmas shopping and everyone goes mad for one day sales. The phenomena has spread over here!

But it's not really that anymore. They've stopped calling it that so much in the U.S mostly because of the net, so there's not so much of a rush. The Independent music stores have now adopted it for "Record Store Day" where they have one day celebrating independent music and money off rare vinyl etc. My band's playing in a "Rise" store this evening for it!

Yep, it is an American thing where everybody goes mad and buys stuff. It is good if you are looking to buy things though as you can usually pick up a few bargains

Funny enough Amazon did a 5 day Black Friday, which started this past Monday. Unfortunately there was nothing on there that took my fancy.

Btw ours last more a day, infact a whole month January.
