He does but he was showing for the ball in our own half when we were under pressure and got us out of trouble a few times in the 2nd half.

What a blow Kelly going off was though, we fell apart for the remainder ofthe first half once he went off, hopefully it's not too serious

Norwich is a free hit for me. Just got to get through that and hopefully we’ve turned a corner injury wise.

Eccles seemed in a dream tonight no awareness whats around him at times and now he is our number 1 midfielder ....gulp hes the best wd have fit now so we'll have to suck it in...come on Josh do the business and wake up
Let’s not be too harsh on Eccles once Kelly went off he had to change his game, he gave barrier in front of our defence and not a lot of support Ayari.

From what I've seen of Latibeaudaire I wouldn't be too concerned with him sitting in front of the defence until Sheaf is fit . He reads the game , loves a tackle and is a good talker on the pitch . You could see him tonight urging the midfield not to drop too deep

It’s one game. I think it would be a shame to lose Allen from the ten role when he’s made such a difference there last two games. At least this way you’ve still got someone out of position but IMO you’ve not got as much of a drop for Saka at WB compared to Ayari at AM.

Wilson motm, closely followed by Binks, what a good player he is, I was surprised he was subbed but he had been booked and there were plenty of fouls going on & last thing we wanted was him getting a red and missing the next match.
I think someone misheard Robins saying throw the kitchen sink and we ended up bringing on kitching for binks

His positional play is poor and needs work on it ASAP.....which we don't have

MR said Kelly had a torn hamstring, and according to the NHS, "a completely torn hamstring may take several months to heal and you'll be unable to resume training or play sport during this time."

Ben Wilson said in his interview that Kelly had said his injury wasn't too bad, and hoped he'd be back on Saturday, so hopefully it's just a minor tear rather than a complete one (although he still won't be back on Saturday).

If Wilson is making the medical diagnoses it would explain a lot!

MVE Torn quad
Sheaf Groin injury
Palmer Adductor injury
Kelly Torn hamstring

Would be asking serious questions of the medical staff at this point.
Don't most clubs use a green zone, orange zone, red zone policy indicating how likely an injury is.

Given Kellys track record and he has played more football in the last few months than he did in the previous 3 years beforehand it wouldn't have taken a genius to highlight him as a high risk

Palmer really needs to look at Allen's work off the ball & how he finds pockets of space etc.
Each time I've seen Palmer, he's always in space upfield whether he's found or not. Allen runs past the last man which Palmer doesn't. If he can't add that to his game, or up his output (assists, goals), O'Hare and maybe Allen will be in front of him. His choice - develop, or stagnate.

Id drop him for O’Hare once he’s fit, unless we go to the box, which I hope we don’t do because we have three strikers scoring. I think he’s useless at DM however.
It's an interesting conundrum for Robins as the season goes on that's for sure

It's why we look like we have 2 midfielders rather than 3 if it's not Allen/COH there, they're too high as a starting position.
