Play your older players for 90 mins every game you have to expect thisWhy do all are injuries seem to be serious?
It never seems to be out for a week or two.
MVE Torn quadFucks sake.
He does but he was showing for the ball in our own half when we were under pressure and got us out of trouble a few times in the 2nd half.
What a blow Kelly going off was though, we fell apart for the remainder ofthe first half once he went off, hopefully it's not too serious
Kelly is the first over 30 to get injured this seasonPlay your older players for 90 mins every game you have to expect this
Robins should learn but won’t
Norwich is a free hit for me. Just got to get through that and hopefully we’ve turned a corner injury wise.
Let’s not be too harsh on Eccles once Kelly went off he had to change his game, he gave barrier in front of our defence and not a lot of support Ayari.Eccles seemed in a dream tonight no awareness whats around him at times and now he is our number 1 midfielder ....gulp hes the best wd have fit now so we'll have to suck it in...come on Josh do the business and wake up
From what I've seen of Latibeaudaire I wouldn't be too concerned with him sitting in front of the defence until Sheaf is fit . He reads the game , loves a tackle and is a good talker on the pitch . You could see him tonight urging the midfield not to drop too deep
If we'd hung on against Huddersfield we'd be above them, I'm hopeful we shithouse our way to 3 points!
Torn leg muscle is usually 6-8 weeks from my personal local league football and cricket experienceI think even a minor tear isa month. One of the resident physios may contradict that
I think someone misheard Robins saying throw the kitchen sink and we ended up bringing on kitching for binksWilson motm, closely followed by Binks, what a good player he is, I was surprised he was subbed but he had been booked and there were plenty of fouls going on & last thing we wanted was him getting a red and missing the next match.
His positional play is poor and needs work on it ASAP.....which we don't haveEccles seemed in a dream tonight no awareness whats around him at times and now he is our number 1 midfielder ....gulp hes the best wd have fit now so we'll have to suck it in...come on Josh do the business and wake up
It really isn't thoughHis positional play is poor and needs work on it ASAP.....which we don't have
You appear to be warming to him?Allen is great between the defence and midfield lines of the opponent. And nicking in to grab the ball off someone. Less so in a more static holding role. On showings so far he starts ahead of Ayari in the 10 role for me.
If Wilson is making the medical diagnoses it would explain a lot!MR said Kelly had a torn hamstring, and according to the NHS, "a completely torn hamstring may take several months to heal and you'll be unable to resume training or play sport during this time."
Ben Wilson said in his interview that Kelly had said his injury wasn't too bad, and hoped he'd be back on Saturday, so hopefully it's just a minor tear rather than a complete one (although he still won't be back on Saturday).
WowI am not usually negative about any of our players, but I have seen enough of Ayari in a City Shirt to know that I would quite happily not see him wearing one again.
I just thought he was crap, lightweight. The only thing he did was miss the target by hitting the crossbar.
Not the best performance but won us the game effectivelyI am not usually negative about any of our players, but I have seen enough of Ayari in a City Shirt to know that I would quite happily not see him wearing one again.
That set up the winner ?I just thought he was crap, lightweight. The only thing he did was miss the target by hitting the crossbar.
Don't most clubs use a green zone, orange zone, red zone policy indicating how likely an injury is.MVE Torn quad
Sheaf Groin injury
Palmer Adductor injury
Kelly Torn hamstring
Would be asking serious questions of the medical staff at this point.
You appear to be warming to him?
That's a lukewarm yesHe’s the best option we have right now
Each time I've seen Palmer, he's always in space upfield whether he's found or not. Allen runs past the last man which Palmer doesn't. If he can't add that to his game, or up his output (assists, goals), O'Hare and maybe Allen will be in front of him. His choice - develop, or stagnate.Palmer really needs to look at Allen's work off the ball & how he finds pockets of space etc.
That's a lukewarm yes
It's an interesting conundrum for Robins as the season goes on that's for sureId drop him for O’Hare once he’s fit, unless we go to the box, which I hope we don’t do because we have three strikers scoring. I think he’s useless at DM however.
Absolute nonsense. It's his greatest strength and one of the reasons why we rarely lose when he plays. His awareness in covering teammates especially the rwb and defence is excellent. His positional play is poor and needs work on it ASAP.....which we don't have
Dr Ben.If Wilson is making the medical diagnoses it would explain a lot!
It's why we look like we have 2 midfielders rather than 3 if it's not Allen/COH there, they're too high as a starting position. Each time I've seen Palmer, he's always in space upfield whether he's found or not. Allen runs past the last man which Palmer doesn't. If he can't add that to his game, or up his output (assists, goals), O'Hare and maybe Allen will be in front of him.
