Good problems to have, but up to you if you want Wright as a striker if so.

Your front three could be Sakamoto - Wright - EMC which would mean we would have depth for all three in form of BTA - Simms - Rudoni.

Other option is you play Rudoni in the centre of the pitch.
Franki sees Rudi in the centre of midfield

you can't play rudi in a 2 like that

we'll go back to a 4

Trying not to think about how many extra points we might have now if Carr and Lampard hadn't stuck with Collins for weeks

Possibly the Portsmouth game would have had a different result.

We drew with 2 of the top teams under Carr and beat Millwall and Hull

In reality it didn’t massively cost us points

Exactly what i said earlier. He's an iffy keeper but looking back at games i dunno if much would have been different. Just probably Pompey really.

When Sheaf comes back he has got to play the deep role,in the middle just in front of a back four.
He would be the first line of defence,I think this would plug the gap in the middle of the defence.
It would solve the conundrum between him and Eccles of who should be doing what. Might mean Josh loses his place though.
Unless of course Josh is performing like he was earlier in the season, and Ben is performing like he was. Then Ben will be on the bench.
Sheaf just slows us down significantly. Holding the ball and passing it 10 yards sideways or backwards doesn't give us much.
Last night we quickly got it wide and used the route 1 option rather than a snail like pointless build up that lets the opposition get organised.

Sheaf also lacks pace and aggression. Last night we showed some real grit. Partly I suspect because we just got into a higher tempo groove. Slow that down and we just deflate and get nervous.

I reckon Blackburn fans online are the worst I've seen from any team. Moaning before the game being all negative, moaning at the ref (who had a decent game imo), commentators on iFollow absolutely dreadful (assume they are fans), and moaning about everything and anything after the game. I'm yet to really see one that says 'we nearly got relegated last season and we're currently in the playoffs. We've also got almost a whole squad injured, so let's look at it realistically'. Instead it's chairman, manager, players, refs and opposition that are the problem.

They certainly give our doom mongers on here a run for their money

It’s clear the team instructions have changed the last three to get it forward a lot quicker. The CBs were also guilty of this (and everyone else) and seem to have changed. No reason to think Sheaf wouldn’t.

Was trying not to think about the last 2 mins against Norwich, but we’d be 9th and 4 points off 6th, and we’ve been terrible, couldn’t possibly happen could it ?
That one doesn't bother me so much but we've dropped 9 points against Cardiff, Millwall and Portsmouth in the last couple of months. If we had those we'd be looking at being in a very good position.

If you lived in Blackburn you'd moan

It was never going to be a smooth ride, replacing a long standing manager just weeks before the busiest period of the season.

But we're progressing now and hopefully that continues

I honestly think that, with our best players fit again, we will be capable of pushing for the play-offs next year. We can cope with losing MVE and sheaf for good money but we mustn’t lose Haji or EM-C.

The money from player sales - and any extra cash we get if Viktor Gykores is sold- will obviously need to be spent wisely on replacements and on strengthening in certain areas.

For the first time in a while I am starting to feel optimistic.
