Me tooPete the actions of the SAG are it seems a big concern of the posters on the forum you represent.
If you don't want to be questioned then don't started being agressive straight of the bat with people who query what seems to be a SAG decision.
I know you are trying to make this about me so you can palm it off as being "the nasty David O'Day" but I am not the only one who has asked these questions. I am not the only person who has questioned you, But crack on with pretending it is all me fella, dealt with far worse.
Again fair questionIf our SAG has carried out proper research that shows that they have a better way of crowd management than (pretty much) every other club in the country, then I’m sure we’d all be interested to see it.
Presumably, all those other clubs that don’t currently see a need to keep massive empty spaces between fans will then all fall in line and mend their ways.
Surely you can see that in a thread about likely SAG decision people will ask about your results regarding that matter.Me too
And you can twist words all you like
I’ve not said I can’t questions decisions taken by the club on advice from sag and if you read the notes you’d see that.. let’s see why the tickets have been taken off sale shall we?
Ask your contacts
So I ask again tell me your theory behind the changesSurely you can see that in a thread about likely SAG decision people will ask about your results regarding that matter.
It is an issue that effects lots of fans and not just on this thread, there's been plenty of comments about the every decreasing atmosphere in the ground. it's getting worse all the time and for a club that likes to shout about the noise their fans make you'd have thought that matters
you seem to be missing the point, the point is if Mark Hornby comes back to you and says Hi Pete it's a SG decision you are just going to go go ok Mark, cheers. When you should be following up asking what incident caused it and why was the decision taken if it is a massive overreaction. So I ask again tell me your theory behind the changes
You think that me spouting off will change a decision made by the safety advisory group and the police?you seem to be missing the point, the point is if Mark Hornby comes back to you and says Hi Pete it's a SG decision you are just going to go go ok Mark, cheers. I think this is the point that needs to be justified by the SAG. People like to think that restrictions on their freedom to decide where to sit is based on logical conclusions supported by evidence. What we are currently seeing is CCFC adopting methodologies that don't seem to be applied at other large sporting stadiums. If our SAG has carried out proper research that shows that they have a better way of crowd management than (pretty much) every other club in the country, then I’m sure we’d all be interested to see it.

asking a question is not spouting offYou think that me spouting off will change a decision made by the safety advisory group and the police?
If mark does say that I will repeat my question as to whether ccfc had to follow the advice and what the reason was for making it
A wise person once said
Change what you can
Accept what you can’t
And get wise to what situations fall in which category
see pete it's not just me saying thisI think this is the point that needs to be justified by the SAG. 1.Why is that?
2.Are the safety teams in the premiership misguided in their approach and the SAG is right?
Pete, the type of questioning that needs to be put to the club, should be phrased in such a way that it illicits a direct response that requires them explain their rationale and treats the fans as adults.
FFS. So they can bring back fences, ban safe standing and introduce ID cards. What a track record the Tory boys have.Vote for a Tory local council, its Maton and his cronies making these ridiculous decisions.
If fans behave I’m sure in time they will re-open block 13, then 12
That needs sorting can’t do a lot when the sun is high but once it reflects through the glass window it blinds you, the windows need blacking out.
I have not read all seven pages of this so I may have missed the point I am about to make. If so apologies. According to the councils own document the safety at sports ground policy (below extract taken from the council website today)should beSafety at Sports Grounds Enforcement Policy – Coventry City Council

was the current sag in place while it was just rugby at the ground?I used to stand near the front in WT7 at HR and when there was a larger away following we were a few metres from the away fans. The SAG seem to think the CBS is a reincarnation of the 70’s Den.
How long can you keep this up forsee pete it's not just me saying this
if you don't want to do it then let someone else
Pretty certain there’s a supporter on the sag can’t remember who and I think they have mobility issue expertiseFrom there, I notice it’s all about risk and compliance and nothing the other way, which is understandable. No obvious way of making complaints/submissions either.
Thought this was interesting though:
Wake up it's 2023.FFS. So they can bring back fences, ban safe standing and introduce ID cards. What a track record the Tory boys have.
Should have engaged more directly from the start rather than the discussion..removed from sale for the rest of the season. Only a matter of time. SAG work their magic again.
Behaviour in block 14 isn’t good enough. It’s only a few unfortunately but that’s all it takes. I think home fans should have up to block 11 but while have people standing facing away fans do ing their hand gestures it won’t happen. One of them what? What are you on about?
And it's not about 2 wrongs making a right, it's about dealing with issues in an appropriate manner, which isn't happening in our case.
Good idea and can’t disagree with the principal of that would mean a bit of a re-hash of the car park for away coaches though but not impossible but then of course it would put up to 4000 away fans very close to the casino and the entrance to the posh seats so can’t see it ever happening. But why can’t the away fans be given the North Stand? - let them shield their eyes from the sun and clap at the same time.
Then the whole of the south stand becomes the home end. With the sun at our backs it’d be awesome…..and none of this segregation bollox - sorted.
We may be last to have safe standing on the basis that the ground is owned by a third party.Safe standing going in up and down the country, we will probably be the last "Big Club" to introduce it, on the basis of what could happen, SAG would be all over it like a rash, where it actually could be the answer to some of the imaginary problems.
not as long as you it seemsHow long can you keep this up for
Likewise I'd sometimes go in Block X of the Sky Blue Stand (aka North / M&B) and it was a couple of stairwell widths between you and the away following. This SAG are a bunch of jumped up clownsI used to stand near the front in WT7 at HR and when there was a larger away following we were a few metres from the away fans. The SAG seem to think the CBS is a reincarnation of the 70’s Den.
Man City, Newcastle and Chelsea all have safe standing, none of these clubs own the stadium. And no I'm not comparing us, but the point still stands. We may be last to have safe standing on the basis that the ground is owned by a third party.

the behaviour is fine in block 14, nothing that doesn't happen at every ground and has happened for decadesBehaviour in block 14 isn’t good enough. Even if they did move the segregation would then just be in the corner at the other end and those in Singers Corner would migrate next to them again. But why can’t the away fans be given the North Stand? - let them shield their eyes from the sun and clap at the same time.

There are no plans to move the away supportersEven if they did move the segregation would then just be in the corner at the other end and those in Singers Corner would migrate next to them again.
But they'd have the sun in their eyes.
I take it you're offering?see pete it's not just me saying this
