I had a bit of a ding dong with some Geordie fans on FB the other day about being in the shit. They were moaning about the state of their club and I was pointing out that they should thank their lucky stars that they're not Cov, Bury or Bolton and that some perspective was needed.I sort of see both sides of the coin with Newcastle. Firstly the fans chat some shit about what they deserve and having shit owners shows a level of entitlement beyond belief. They couldn’t comprehend what we or other clubs have been through and it stinks. The club is profitable and insulated against the bubble bursting. On the other hand the owners mess about with a brilliant manager and let him walk replacing him with someone treading water a league below. Why would you want to keep buying season tickets when the only ambition is to win the bare minimum of games. Ashley seems to have taken the abuse and gone “fuck you then, I’ll make the club worse before I sell”
Rafa saying how much be wanted to stay to finish the "project". Decides to run down his contract after being offered £6m/year to miraculously pick up a £12m/year job in China and flies out that day. Now, that takes some doing to be interviewed, offered the job and fly out immediately to start his new "project".I had a bit of a ding dong with some Geordie fans on FB the other day about being in the shit. My best mate is a Geordie and was having exactly the same argument with him. He couldn't see that in the grand scheme of things they are still doing pretty well, any number of clubs would kill to be in their position.I had a bit of a ding dong with some Geordie fans on FB the other day about being in the shit. When you consider the dire financial situation at Bolton and Bury Then throw
in Stockport, Oldham and Wigan who have all had their fair share of financial
Difficulties ‘would their close proximity to Utd and City be a major factor in the
hardship they find themselves in.
I know a lot of clubs nationwide (us included) are in a mess ‘but it seems just
about every Club in Greater Manchester are in real trouble.
So it weren’t just me thinking he’s a twat then. It’s good to knowA bit pedantic!! This reads like a spoiled kid who’s not getting his own way! Just let it go, it doesn’t matter
ABU bollocks again

Is Salford the ex Man Utd legends plaything ?Apart from Salford, yes.
FC United apparently struggling
Anyone But United?Genuine question - what's ABU ?
They've got 7 registered players you pedantic twat, as it stands they cannot fulfil their fixtures.Might be being a bit pedantic but there’s a difference between not having enough players for a friendly to go ahead and the club’s players refusing to play. Surely even if Bolton had a full squad they still would’ve refused as the point is, they haven’t been paid. The amount of players they have or don’t have is irrelevant as it’s the reason the friendly has been cancelled that is significant. Simply saying they don’t have enough players in itself is incorrect. No statement that has come out has specified that as the reason either so not sure why you’re still trying to argue your point?
Yes then they got a multi millionaire to chip in.Is Salford the ex Man Utd legends plaything ?

Can they play trialists i.e. unregistered players in the league? They managed to play their friendly fixture against York so I think you’ll find they do

The thread is called Bolton awayWhat are you on about I was discussing the Chester friendly. Might want to read the thread before blurting out with rubbish?
Some were fairly saying that regardless of others, they still had the right to moan if they think their club is being run poorly. What did they say back?

I remember Blackpool being in the exact same position a few years back ‘and I believeThey've got 7 registered players you pedantic twat, as it stands they cannot fulfil their fixtures.

Bolton will probably lose more points yet due to the cancelled gameI see Bury have to start at -12 too now. That should (probably) tie up 2 of the bottom 4 already. Sad news for those clubs, but takes some pressure of other teams.
Point is they still played York with some first team players. They cancelled the FIRST TEAM friendly game with Chester due to not having enough first team players to play. This was because the first team players had gone on strike. If you read the Chester website which I did yesterday when I commented they declined the u23 fixture at home to play 2 away fixtures instead (my own guess is because they’d sell very little tickets playing Bolton u23 at home)
