Busy summer with Euros, Copa America, and Olympics complicates the market.

The market for some of those internationals will hold off until their summer tournament is over. That prevents player sales which funds purchases and trickles money throughout the transfer market.

Very true. You'd expect the free agent market to have been very active however but alas fuck all

Maybe a few of the free agents need to be left to sweat it out for a bit or they will be thinking I was on 40k a week might go for a bit more where in reality they are now worth far less.

But it is boring I need something from the club a new shirt of season ticket sales or I might start getting interested in international football.

The transfer window doesn't officially start till this Friday (14th) so don't expect anything to be announced officially till then.

A lot of managers, players and agents etc have been on holibobs as well.
So hang on for 3 more days!

do we know if the team are having a normal length holiday this year? or are they getting longer?
they did seem to run out of steam last season. just wondered if everyone has been given a bit more time, on and off the pitch.

Agents and players don't jump at the first offer. Even free agents are still on the payroll of the club they are due to leave. They will get paid end of June so have all of July to make decisions.

Once the market starts moving or teams miss out on targets it can bring in new offers.

Lots of managers are on record as saying how frustrating it is. They want to get business done and people in early, but agents and players keep them waiting on decisions.

Has anyone mentioned the Torp goal disallowed by VAR in the game vs Man United. Tight call for me. We can discuss that if everyone is bored since no one mentioned it ?
OK they got who they wanted to the final and we'd have beat City on that performance!!😲
