Bring it on. Been a shite quiet two weeks
Apparently, Tony Hateley was a ferocious header of the ball. Two best headers of the ball to play for city.
Speedie and Dublin but if I was to pick one it would be Speedie for his size he had a remarkable jump and scored such a variety of goals

On the other hand, he did once manage to scoop it over the bar while he had one hand almost on the goalpost. Not the best with his feet was our Tone. Mark was a definite upgrade in that respect.Apparently, Tony Hateley was a ferocious header of the ball.
Never saw Ferguson (probably did but don't really remember it). For me, it's Dion. All day, every day.On the other hand, he did once manage to scoop it over the bar while he had one hand almost on the goalpost. Not the best with his feet was our Tone. Mark was a definite upgrade in that respect.
Best header of a ball has to be Mick Fergusson
as was Neil Martin i remember seeing him score a header like a bullet from the edge of the penalty areaApparently, Tony Hateley was a ferocious header of the ball.
True
.....oh sorry thats Tony Hadley
These puns are just Gold. Sorry, it was my Instiction to post this.To Cut a Long Story Short… Mark was arguably better than Tony
In my time Neil Martin was special in the air, Ferguson was very good, Speedie superb for his size, Regis was great Dion was the best IMO and a special mention for Colin Stein, David Cross and John Hartson.Never saw Ferguson (probably did but don't really remember it). Jesus wept! These puns are getting worse. You lot should be sent to prison. Preferably one in Berlin. That's True, but Tony has the odd moment of pure Gold. Loved a tackle too. Will always remenber the time he went Through Barry Cades.
Finally managed to wriggle free of the constraints of family life to be able to make this my first game of the season.
A quick question - I'll be doing POG. How many POG gates are designated on matchday and will I be able to POG to sit on the 'far side'? (As in dug out/tech area side) I've never sat in that part of the ground before.
I think this is a bigger test than QPR. I expected Rangers to beat us as they're a very good side.
If we can get a result out of Boro at home then it will show we can mix it with some of the top half sides that are probably not playoff teams.
I wanted more optimism but thats too much optimism Waghorn to score!Moore

Speedie was amazing in the air, especially when you consider his height- there's one on here at about 50 secs where the ball comes to him having lost its pace, but he gets more power on his header than you'd think should be humanly possible..
Mick Ferguson great header an centre forward and his fellow striker Ian wallace what a partnership,Deadly. On the other hand, he did once manage to scoop it over the bar while he had one hand almost on the goalpost. Not the best with his feet was our Tone. Mark was a definite upgrade in that respect.

Seen him score two bullet headers from outside the penalty area at Stoke who had England keeper Gordon Banks in goal.Apparently, Tony Hateley was a ferocious header of the ball.
Surprised Sean Flynn hasn’t had a mention yet.In my time Neil Martin was special in the air, Ferguson was very good, Speedie superb for his size, Regis was great Dion was the best IMO and a special mention for Colin Stein, David Cross and John Hartson.

Another player who was superb in the air for his size.
