Sure, I know, but I was just making an analogy to explain why I don't "just accept" things. It may look hopeless, resistance may be futile, but plenty of people fight against the odds.
I have no argument with that at all (top of page 10) and I know what you’re saying regarding if no-one does nothing then nothing will change.
Just don't expect miracles because I honestly doubt they give a rats arse about any kind of protest/noise you do make but if you and others feel strongly enough about it then good for you (but be careful of what you wish for just in case they do pull the plug and no-one comes in) it is not a dead cert that they will and don't put to much faith in Hoffman.
What I am trying to say is sooner or later one team will not get taken over and knowing cov's luck it would be us, as I think football is coming back down to reality, abit slowly I grant you but with all the TV investigation stuff etc lately it is getting scrutinized a lot more now.
I did not mock Brinner or anyone else. I saw it as a very good move. At the time also the Hoffman bid was looking good. The Hoffman bid looks either like a load of crap or the football people had no idea of the rules. They seem to have gone away very quietly. I do not agree to protests at games though. The bad feelings will be affecting the team. It always does. Protests at games will remind them of what is going on instead of concentrating on playing. I do not see why we should give our opponents an advantage.
dont see how we can afford to let him go ............ Eastwood too fat, Platt is a tree, Sheffers not yet fully fit, McDonald not yet ready, ODonovan not up to it ........... but then very little surprises me at CCFC
Thorn has stood his ground here, the fact that Parkin "FAILED THE MEDICAL" convenianty is down to the fact that Andy didnt want him as it goes against everything he has done for us up to now regarding our style of play. Its not the Aidy Hoothroys football of old. What has happened is Thorn has obviously said he will walk due to the running of the club and the things that are being done behind his back, i believe he has said to them, "if you wanna bring in a striker i want Cody (who they have obviously been watchin for a while) with some of the money brought in from Turner as they never put forward a proper bid of Adam Le Fondre who was the number 1 target". Fair play to the bloke, the sooner SISU get the feck out of our club the better, there is far to much going on behind the scenes that we dont know about and there has been several hints dropped by Andy Thorn and Turner on his departure from the club. He may not need alot of money as he has shown from players he has got in the past whilst scouting ie Westwood, Fox, Dann, Mifsud all he needs is support from the Board. Why are SISU hanging around if everything is as black and white as they say it is, they are £30 million pound of pocket which at this rate they are not getting back, they are gaining no money from the stadium itself, they are not getting any money from gate receipts and they are losing £500 k a month. Now lets be honest they could sell off our whole squad and barely make £5 mil so why are they hanging around. The sooner they leave the better other its gonna be a geat tuesday night out next season for an away trip to Huish Park and a tour of the lovely Yeovil. SISU OUT
