After being sacked by Leeds Utd's prospective new owner Massimo Cellino (who has owned Cagliari for 20 years), only to be re-instated by the existent incumbent after demonstrations by the fans, Brian McDermott issued a statement yesterday which included the following text…"The fans are a class act - it's their football club, it doesn't belong to anyone but them. Whoever takes this club on has to have them first and foremost in their minds. Nothing else matters."Wouldn't it be nice if all new potential owners had to sign up to the same values?
