This is in all seriousness though the point surely.

Fans backing the football club with a big turnout when it’s still only a slim chance of a play off position.

Yet on another thread we are accepting we are just going to sell two players at least as we aren’t a big enough club

Sorry I just find this so bizarre

Realism my friend. Very few are accepting it’s a necessity but to progress that’s how it works

Mmmm oddly that’s not how it works for other teams is it

I hope they all receive training in how to put a ticket in a card reader, and are told that the Block and Seat number are where they are supposed to sit.

Nah, there’ll be dozens of people crowding the stairs of 16/15/14 with stewards and police just watching them.

Oh look, grendel all over another thread. Give it a fucking rest.

im really not. I’m just looking at the irony of the situation.

It does for many many other teams. And it changes over the years

im going to say one last thing on this thread about this

Nottingham Forest spent money in January and had another loan signing - they I don’t think sold anyone. In theory they have no money. They are a selling club therefore but sold no one, I suspect they will be in tbe play offs.

Go and support them then. You will then see they did sell somebody.

That's the culture now in that corner and I wouldn't complain if I was there, not that I would be, but you respect the culture. Equally, I object to people wanting to stand in Block 23 in front of me, because it's not the culture there.

We had to throw people out of our seats last home game. Today there won't be many spare seats for them to go to

The standing is alright. On the stairs though, that’s a disaster waiting to happen.

If we average 18k City fans x 23 home games is it the highest season total since 05/06 or even the 70s?

In Prem/Strachan days we averaged 17-18k max Cov fans x 19 home games so well short

If you want irony I’m old enough to remember when a certain poster was a SISU fan boy making elaborate claims like SISU were loosing the court cases on purpose because they’re clever, thought we should all kiss their arse when the appointed Mowbray as it was a real scoop as he was a premier league quality manager and when they started talking about a stadium no bigger than 16K thought it was a good idea because we’ll never get crowds that big. Now look at him.

22k sold with 1400 available on the gate.

Clear as day that we are limited at about 24k today unless they scrap the social distancing block.

If they are not promoted this season they are in the shit under FFP rules. They are already under investigation and will have a points deduction next season. QPR as well !!!

Aside from the fact they did sell and are owned by a Greek shipping tycoon with plenty of money who does things like convert debt into shares allowing Forest to do deals in the transfer market, bang on.

Gutted to miss today. Still feeling the after effects of Covid and don’t reckon I could manage the 4 hour round trip. But win today and beat Albion and the Huddersfield game will be even bigger!!
