Do you need it spelling out or is that not a fair expectation of pro footballers?

We're in a league awash with money against s team full of players who cost multi millions. Why do you think what worked in league should work well against

Always going to be a hard game and for some reason we went out in awe of them and almost beat ourselves. We looked a shadow of the team we can be. But they're clearly a huge amount ahead of us in terms of quality so 3-1, down to 10 and ref letting their players get away with some awful tackles/conduct and playing that poorly against a very good team could be worse.

Going to miss Hamer's set pieces in the next few games.

People need to relax.

Bournemouth are a shoe in to win the league. They beat Norwich who were their main dangers last week.

The playing out from the back has been a mistake tonight, the Bournemouth press has ruined our usual play. They also did a great job of ruining any momentum we were getting, slowing the ball down at every opportunity and professional fouls.

The tackle on Dabo was vile, but it is a yellow card. Not violent enough for red but that cliche orange card tackle.

Hamer then gets unlucky, I think he is caught because he is pushed into the referees field of vision. I don't think he spits. He does need to get his head together though. He and Shipley are at fault for the 1st and him solely for the 3rd. I think he bottles that tackle because he has had all the bookings recently.

Anyone who thinks we will be challenging for the playoffs ?

men against boys tonight despite the sending off our midfield were none existsnt and we never looked a threat. One team is worth 100 mil the other 2 mil says it all

Nope he came in cause hamer was shouting at the player that assaulted dabo. It’s a terrible terrible tackle on dabo
thought you meant it was player who tackled Dabo. That tackle was boarder line red. If player coming in on Hamer used forearm that should be red too.

Well I expected defeat. Still hurts like hell. Gifted them all 3 goals. We are a work in progress. Need Kelly back big time.

It was great to see Rose back into our defence. Ostigard gives the ball away too many times for my liking.
Allen just seems too light weight and ineffective tonight, I thought Shipley gave us more options.
We are going to have tough days in this league and this was always going to be one.
International break and lets get Kelly back in for Hamer [who we'll really miss].

Think we might struggle physically this season it's not only a step up in quality but also in athleticism. We look a little lightweight in some positions and I have a feeling we might need to up the shithousery against teams like Bournemouth otherwise we will be punished

So for skyblue Pete and his cohorts, I thought we looked like the Brazilian team of the 1970 World Cup, I can't find one fault in our team, and if we don't win the Champions League in 2023 I'm going to give up

The result was expected, although I'd have hoped for a bit more from a few of the players in all honesty. Losing Hamer for the 3 games we have coming up is a disaster though, fucking idiot.

To be fair they've barely spent any of the money they've received from player sales/parachute payments on new additions. Looking at the dire state of their accounts I don't expect them too either.

The majority of this squad is inherited from last season.

Yes but 92million compared to 2.5! They didn’t need to spend anymore

I’ll be surprised if we’re still playing this formation by the end of the season.
Kelly makes a difference in there. I think robins will look at an attacking midfielder before the transfer window out. Allen and shipley aren’t good enough.

Rose looked assured and hyam excellent dabo off the pace. McCallum will be in for Giles after the break he was poor defensively tonight.

We need much more mobility all over the pitch dont we?
