Agreed. He was dominant at one stage. His corner let him down at times.

If they rematch, Fury will change his approach like we saw in the Wilder trilogy.

AJ couldn't get close to Usyk and that wasn't the case last night for Fury.
yeah, he'll just go out in the rematch and try and knock him from the first bell and he is capable of doing that.

Yeah I knew you meant the judges. I just thought a bit rich from Fury given the treatment from the ref. Although you could argue Usyk had similar help against Dubios.
Exactly, Usyk had 5 minutes to recover from a shot that was on the belt, of shorts that were nearly covering his tits.

No problem with the result last night, I had Usyk ahead by 1 round, and it's set up nicely for the rematch.

No idea what John Fury was doing on the corner, may as well have a circus clown in there.

I do like usyk , as a person he seems very likeable much more so infact than tyson fury , a worthy champion

Respectful, humble, funny and as talented as they come. The way he speaks about his country and his family, just a decent all round guy. Did say I had a soft spot for him 😂. He’s been my mates and my favourite non Brit fighter for ages.

Deserves the undisputed and wouldn’t blame him if he walks away, done it all at amateur and pro.

Fury didn't have the minerals to finish it. He was too busy dancing around and showing off.

When he was getting the best of him. He didn't even try and go in for the kill.

The nonsense about "his corner saying he was winning" is bollocks. He just didn't have the power or quality.

Yep-all the corner talk is cobblers. More than met his match and was beaten by the better man on the night.

I thought Fury was surprisingly easy to hit with Usyk's left, it landed far to often and eventually led to the big round in the 9th which turned out to be the round that won it for me.

Yeah, not sure it would’ve made a difference, however against a technical fighter like Usyk you need clear, concise messaging and plan from the corner, not Big John fury shouting random stuff over your trainer

Fury looks like the sort of opponent they used to wheel out for Bruno in a World Title eliminator back in the day

Agree with comments, he won but 117-111 almost as bad as first result

Great fight.
Echo what others have said about the nonsense scoring, it was far closer than that, but at least the right man won this time.

Late to this but if you think back to AJ’s second fight against Usyk, it was actually v similar. AJ had him and then Usyk recovered really well and ended the fight well.

I also think Usyk was more aggressive than he was Vs AJ. He moved Fury around the ring for the start and end of the fight and didn’t do that against AJ. Presumably wary of AJ’s power.

Fury’s problem is that he started showboating; Usyk was there for the taking and he didn’t finish him off. He really needs to not have his dad involved if he’s to win next time.

Looked an absolute slugfest that. Really good win for Dubois, will be interesting to see how he gets on as the top of the HW division retire/age. Potential for a big British fight between him and Itauma maybe.

Think fury wins the rematch , he never recovered from that 10-8 round but I think he was bossing it up until that point .. so my money is on a better more focused and less cocky version winning the rematch
