Maybe a long shot but he would be a class replacement for Gunnarsson, if i remember rightly we were close to signing him when he was at Northampton.

The few games i've seen of him he looks just the sort of player we sould be signing and would fit into our formation the only problem it seems the Premiership vultures are sniffing around.

I suppose we will have to wait on Gunnarsson and co to either sign up or move on. Surely they must have an idea of what they are going to do? If they want to move on it's a shame but I'd rather they got on with it so we can also move on.

Rejected a contract from leeds, who just missed out on the play offs and can offer him twice as much as we could, and has offers on the table from prem clubs.

Bit of a daft thread really.

I've always highly rated Johnson, would slot in perfectly into our midfield. Would be a long shot signing him, he's off to the premier or a championship club with more money to sway him.

Bit of daft thread? Is that based on your assumption Leeds can double what we could offer, i would love to see the proof of this? Also i think you may have overlooked the first line of the post.

But i agree he wont join us, you would think i just put Messi's name down as a possible signing.

I don't think he will come to us as I have read there are a few Premier League teams sniffing around him but my mate who is a Leeds fan doesn't rate him at all.
