How much lower do they want it and what do these revenues add up to ffs

I'm sure they said 400k was a perfectly acceptable offer but they needed access to revenue.
So 150k rent with no access? No idea. You could make it rent free and it doesn't affect money coming in for the FFP though.

Basically in an ideal world they fuck off and someone else comes in who the council will sell to.

If they want the F&B's for example why not do an earn out. That way they get the turnover but only pay the profit for a period of time. There are all sorts of ways to do these things.

However I think SISU will reject it ......... Joy has her sights set on the freehold at a knock down price under £5m if you ask me, after distressing the life out of all and sundry with all sorts of legal costs

So they want the cake eat it and take the plate

It wouldn't be the only reason, SISU will want as much ownership and revenue out of the Ricoh that they can get. However I every penny helps.

Remember there's a third party involved when it comes F&B, Compass who have paid for the rights to do catering. If F&B is so crucial to the sisu coffers they will have to buy them out.

"tester" ?? bit late for that mate - of course SISU would reject that..and why wouldnt they frankly. 10 years with no income is no compromise at all from ACL. Not sure whos interests they think they are protecting anymore.

He wants to watch his team. It appears that people like you want the council to gift wrap the arena and give it to sisu for nowt.

Do you think that anybody will ever pay the council's asking price for it? Or anywhere close? If so, why hasn't it happened already?

even if the deal on the table is just for rent their remains a possibility that a deal could be done for the Higgs part of ACL which the people sitting in today's meeting could not necessarily agree.

Lets hope Ann Lucas and Joy Seppala can sort this...

(Even typing that gives me a nervous feeling and reason to say Gulp!!)

Deal does include CCFC having access to f&b

It's the complete package now.

It's what Sisu wanted in the first place. Will be interesting to see if they reject this or not...

If they reject it they just want to distress acl and get Ricoh on the cheap.

Why is everyone surprised by this 10 year deal proposal. That is the minimum stipulation by the Football League for ground deals within it's structure. Something sisu haven't offered. Another cunning tactic perhaps.

That doesn't surprise me, and sees only reasonable to me! The extra court case always seemed unnecessary to me!

And I just want this to all be over now!

The Court Case has the potential to ruin ACL and damage the council. No way on this earth will it be dropped without major concessions from the council / ACL that have the same ultimate value imo.

Mr. reid says otherwise:

Les Reid ‏@Lesreidpolitics 19m

@mcox87 Correct. No offer at all for #CCFC or Sisu et al to buy even 1 per cent of Ricoh, & no offer on matchday revenues like food & drink

It's what SISU CLAIMED they wanted in the first place!

I find the court action against Northampton interesting as well, and the whole set up makes me wonder what everyones end game is now.

Their response will be interesting.

Tim Fisher "we didn't see this coming and we need to consider it" according to Sky Sports News.

Either the sound of backtracking or "I'd better not say anything until I ask the boss".

I know you are treated like some sort of last word on everything on here (and seem to get no challenge) but I think we all understand the sums. OF COURSE its a better deal than Northampton - but its still not a sustainable one without F&B etc or the possibility even of negotiating an agreement over it. Quite why ACL would think this would be acceptable to SISU or indeed all but the most rabid of anti SISU types is baffling.
Trying to justify it as a good deal does your credibility no favours.

It easily beats what the bare minimum they would take was when they started the rent strike!

Oh and all of you wondering where Fisher is (Seppalas puppet etc) can end your conspiracy...he is on holiday, out of the country with his kids, like about a third of the working population at the moment.

In any other world I think this would be seen as a pretty good offer. Wipe out three-quarters of the debt, and pay rent at 10% of the original level.

I think it's been fairly well documented why access to F&B revenues is difficult, but in truth it seems that even that isn't really what all of this is about. It's really about SISU getting the Ricoh on the cheap. If it wasn't then SISU would accept the offer.

This is a deal that makes a lot more financial sense than going to Northampton, paying more in rent, losing more in revenue, and having to build another stadium. But for all of that, I don't think SISU will take it.
