That's above average so far compared to the league , still 5 teams have not made a signing yet ...one being our opening day fixture club ...Nottingham forest

Why I'm a bit surprised it's not a year, with another year in the club's favour. Two years doesn't quite provide the same motivation.

Most people will be more motivated if an employer gives them a two year, rather than one year contract.

Oh yeah, everytime I have heard it it's been jumped on by people around me and the stewards, same as all fan bases most people are decent but the scum are normally more vocal

Aside from the defensive needs, I still think we may bring in another loan striker and possibly another attacking midfielder. Suspect Allen will offloaded, maybe Shipley on loan also.

Only really the left I'm worried about, really. Hyam has an extra year on him, and looked better end of season, Rose looked good end of season when fit, the young'uns like Drysdale have a bit of league experience now...

McFadzean maybe the worry, as he's another year older but if he holds up, we're not *too* bad for the middle of defence.

You think? A year to bum around, and no worries about what happens to you the season after, as opposed to needing to work hard to get that year.

Mostly, contracts are only longer to protect the investment really.

Nothing about any incoming yet but I'm confident there will be more
But some people are worrying about various players being missing from the Spain footage
As far as I know none of our senior players are leaving (unless a mad offer comes in)
A number of players have had to self isolate so couldn't travel so naturally there will be absentees
