Fancy Wright for another goal. An absolute murderer at this level and one of the main reasons I think we could finish very high.

Got to feel for him. Out for months after signing and once he's fit he's right down the pecking order.

Scored a hat trick midweek and loses his place on the bench.
I think if he goes on loan it has to be to a top end L1 club and he has to make a big impact to come back next season and be in the mix

Hearing 3 players are off and he's one of them.
Oh go then Clint you tease, show us a bit more thigh. Is that Kasey Palmers name I see tattooed just below the arse cheek too?

Strong bench full of attack minded options. Reckon Allen will be left out once Sheaf is back.

Whoever leaves out of Allen and Palmer. Guessing Palmer.
Other way round for me. Palmer has vision and is a fantastic option with 30 minutes to go with the pace of the front 3 ahead of him. When Sheaf returns, Eccles or Torp drop to the bench as additional cover for the midfield. I don't always understand how some seem to love Allen vs. Palmer as I just don't believe Allen has the physicality to be a real force in this division.

Palmer last year of his contract and on more money than Allen. He just doesn’t fit into the team now

If Allen stays and we sign a couple more I'm not convinced he makes the matchday squad tbh. I think Palmers more talented but also very frustrating. Think we're moving beyond both now.

Allen isn't going to be a "real force" in this division but Robins clearly believes he's more valuable to the squad than Palmer.

Probably right Tom particularly if Palmer doesn't want to agree a new contract. I just think Palmer's skill set and vision could suit this team very nicely against tired defences in the last 30 minutes - particularly with the express pace of our likely front 3 ahead of him in the final 30 - EMC/BTA/Wright.

He doesn’t hate Palmer. He’s saying he’ll be one of the players leaving
I realise that.....
Personally think it's counter productive to let either Allen or Palmer go, even if we bring in another CM. We still need that depth and both have skills to offer, even if they aren't first choice.

Anyway this is a difficult game to predict. Play anything like we did at Stoke and we lose. I watched a bit of Bristol’s game last week against Millwall, they were so open.
If we play like we did against Oxford and cut out the stupid shit at the back then we get at least a point

But then one of them would not even make match day squads
