I cannot believe we're tipped by some as autos, miles off it. It's a sh*tting the bed comment from me, but we've been made to look incredibly average by stoke and this Bristol team, and nearly let slip a home win to a newly promoted team who were average at best.

Second best to the ball, not physical enough. We can have all the attacking threat in the world, but if you can't get them the ball, what's the point.

We won’t make the play offs either if this is what we want serve up.

How people can come on here and tell me that Eccles is a top top Championship midfielder is beyond me. Both him and Torp hiding every time we have the ball at the back so they’re forced to go long. There’s no point having such a good front 3 because we simply can’t get the ball to them.

Our midfield have been nothing short of pathetic. The most timid midfield performance. Bristol City far more aggressive in the movement and tackling. Torp and Eccles so slow on the ball and so slow closing down.
Latibeudiere, Dovin and Wright only ones coming out with any credit.

I think Rudoni has somehow beaten his fellow central midfielders to worst player of the half, his sole contribution is to give away a needless free kick which led to their goal. Need much better from him.

And he looked so assured in pre-season...... I know it's not the same as real matches but how you go from playing with swagger to barely looking like a footballer I've no idea

That was terrible. Really really poor. Robins has been out thought, and we have been out fought, physically and tactically.

They are dominating the midfield, Eccles has been so poor and Torp has been equally poor, as has Rudoni. I love Sakamoto but physically they are bullying him, I'd bring him off for either EMC or maybe play BTA off the right.

Torp is awful....type of player you'd love to bully. He switches off and is off the pace which is concerning.

If we could have gone in at half time at 0-0 I’d have felt slightly different about that. We limited their chances quite well but always seem to concede.

Away from home we always look completely different and we look scared to try and pass it along the floor under pressure when going forward.

Latibeaudiere, other than getting outmuscled by an absolute unit in Armstrong, has had a decent half.

Wright has tried to make something happen from nothing and has done okay.

No one else has been great, with Eccles and Torp being particularly untidy and Rudoni and Simms being anonymous.

He's got a point though. When making saves he looks like an outfield player going in when the keeper is sent off!
