Everything points to the coaching infrastructure. It wasn’t broken, so they fixed it anyway. How are we building still the team last night was only a few players different from last year don't understand why they are struggling so much.
Jesus Christ we've spent £45M on players and after 10 games you reckon "we just needed to not lose" against bottom of the league who had last 4 on the bounce.
Well it was because AV had a lot of internal enemies and was clearly sacked for gross misconduct.Everything points to the coaching infrastructure. It wasn’t broken, so they fixed it anyway.
For sure, the first thing you need when you have a losing streak is to break the duck. We need to avoid defeat v Luton and go into two fixtures consecutively where our recent form against Middlesborough and Sunderland has been favourable going into the international break.Again I agree but we have to negotiate the rest of this month and then at least two more before we can rectify anything.

There’s this fixation on strikers not performing where we have 4 CMs and a wingers who have failed to achieve a single goal contribution in 14 games. In fact, the only one who has is actually EMC who’s had dogs abuse thrown at him.
You’re both right.
and there's no point being oblique about it, tbf.
I concur to a degree.

Well no-one has cemented themselves in the first team 11 have they.To be honest I just think the building blocks need to gel.
Yup. Everyone else will just probably sit at home and try to get on Bargain Hunt in the hope they can win a golden gravel. At this rate it will only be the hardcore fans left.
Nothing wrong with a bit of hardcore as long as it's legalAt this rate it will only be the hardcore fans left.
I’m not sure they’re that great a partnership. Comparing our record against top half teams in 22/23 and 23/24 paints a picture. Both Eccles and Sheaf played in those seasons. However, both of these players are good progressive deep lying playmakers - imo Sheaf is a lot better at that job without being an insult to Eccles. We need someone who’s more adventurous on the ball and puts the ball into advanced players in the final third/the box. Torp did this well for Simms chance and if Eccles is injured for a stretch, it’s his time to step up to the plate - too often he looks classy one minute and lost the next!True.
I like both Sheaf and Eccles and think that as a pairing they work together well too, but neither of them score goals and that is a major concern.
Just make sure it's not shale or live, that's all I'll say !!Nothing wrong with a bit of hardcore as long as it's legal
Golden gravel? Is that what people with more money than sense put on their drives?Yup. Everyone else will just probably sit at home and try to get on Bargain Hunt in the hope they can win a golden gravel.

Of course, because it is much simpler to do. You could even say it's a breeze.
Stolen your identity? Are you stoned?Have you stolen my identity? Might have to block you.
Heaven forbid! Though I'd like to point out that I've got a few refreshments under my hat, but not enough to render me senseless. You seem like a decent brick, so I'll let this pass.Stolen your identity? Are you stoned?
If you think you can last the course with this level of wise-cracking, you're plumb wrong.Stolen your identity? Are you stoned?
I'm mortar-fied you should think this.Stolen your identity? Are you stoned?
If laying the foundations for the joke wasn't funny, then pointing it out isn't going to help cement your position.I'm mortar-fied you should think this.
Can't say I am impressed with your storeys. If laying the foundations for the joke wasn't funny, then pointing it out isn't going to help cement your position.
Odd.I don't think it is a big deal. He's using the term because we didn't lose the game and therefore hopefully have something to add to next week. A bit of a soundbite but it makes sense given the result.
Again though, there are people jumping on each thread like to shut down any dissent like an alarm has gone off, and these are the people who don't watch the games in what I gather, pretty much any capacity. Of course you are going to feel less emotional about it.
Odd.
