I've never seen a worse kicker!!

MUST improve but I'm not sure if it's beyond repair now, he's had years to practice kicking and STILL he can never find a player and majority of the time the ball flies about 100m in the air and drops before the halfway line! Ok at saving and everything else but his kicking is the worse I've seen.
Time for RCC?

Bit harsh. Not sure many league one keepers would have kept the first out. Their player did what coaches tell you and headed it down. Thr fact he got his fingers to it, gives the perception he should have saved it.

His kicking was bloody awful though.

I felt that the headed ball was close enough to him to warrant him having a better go at it.

Not convinced he would have saved it though even if he had.

Really didn't think his kicking was that bad today. Perfect? No, but worthy of a thread? Not for me. He also played a blinding ball through for Jones at one point in the first half.

Haven't seen a replay of the first goal but from my position he should have done much better with it.

I think there are a few others to blame for the goal before burge. His kicking was mostly poor today.

His kicking did appear to be back to his normal standards bar one in the first half where he found Jones who was unable to make use of the decent forward ball due to him being on the wrong side of the pitch.....

I had thought his kicking had 'improved', but today confirmed it hasn't

Although he wasn't helped by poor defending (mostly Jordan Turnnbull) for both goals, Burge was wrong footed for both goals! Should of done better with both.
But I do have to admit before Burges faults Turnnbull was at fault for both goals also. Didn't even leave the ground to challenge the header for the 1st and was having a lie down for the 2nd!

Why are we talking about his shit distribution as if this is a new thing??

Think he's trying to see how high he can kick it. If he can't kick better why not just play it out to someone who can kick it long with a bit more accuracy.

Why kick it anyway as Tudgauy was as equally useless at winning his long balls as he was at sending them. Then either side of him was Jones and Reid with Bigi in behind all of whom are about 5'7". POINTLESS WASTEFUL SHIT! And Oggy the 'messiah' is teaching what exactly?

He won a few, also brought a couple down on fairness.

Like who?
None of them can do a decent long kick.
That is why we play this tippy tappy football looks good but gets us unstuck in the last third.
Nearly every attack yesterday the player with the ball wanted that one more touch before passing or crossing it.

If our main problem with our keepers is there kicking then I'm delighted with that. Goalkeeper ranks behind defence, midfield and attack on my recruitment list

His kicking amazingly gets worse week by week .

Have you not seen his attempts at catching.

In all honesty there's minimal difference between the 2 keepers we have. rcc had the shirt through Burge looking dreadful last year
Burge gets the shirt due to rcc injury
That's life I'm afraid.
Burge wasn't very good yesterday, but doesn't deserve to lose his place as it wasn't that bad.
A keeper should only lose his place to injury or to a string of booboo's. Burge hasn't done either yesterday.

I am more of a rcc fan tho and would prefer him as Number 1, but much of a much ness, Burge is 1 at the Moment and fair play to keeping it, he's done well enough to keep it

I think Burge deserves to be number 1 at the moment. Generally, I feel like the defence (and me) are more comfortable and less panicky with him there.
Kicking got worse through the afternoon, so probably down to confidence - apart from one kick in first half to find Jones which was superb

A new GK would be the first item on my agenda as an incoming manager. A steady and reliable GK spreads confidence in the defence which then works it way upfield. A goalscorer would be 2nd btw with a hard man 3rd. (Is it obvious I'm a GK!?)

Agree completely Mr L! Welcome aboard by the way (despite that naughty suit ).

It would be last on mine behind a striker midfielder and defender

In the last few games burge is the only player having a go half u pricks want to leave him alone and have a go at some of the shite who souldnt have a city shirt on there back

We're in the relegation places of the third division, we have absolutely no players who are beyond criticism.
