Anyone notice he was reluctant to go off? He was stood with the officials then somebody (think it was Oggy) walked him off with another member of staff.

Not sure but it kind of looked like he was upset. May have knocked his confidence?

Yeah it was definitely the fault of Willis. It might have had something to do with the injury but they didn’t seem to check him out just ran over and walked him off.

It was absolutely Willis’ fault, Burge had no choice.

I think the incident at the end was injury related, potentially concussion (?), as the doctor/physio came back out to help Oggy with Burge.

If it is concussion and he’s out for a few games, that leaves Addai as the only keeper. Emergency loan territory?

I was saying before the game that I was surprised they didn’t bring in a senior keeper as back up in the window but with the wage budget being tight maybe they were thinking take the risk and get one in as emergency if needed.

However, somebody said today that you need 3 keepers injured before you can get an emergency loan. Anybody know if that the case?

100% Willis fault and absolutly pathetic play. 88 mins just smash it anywhere and move on. No one bats an eye lid and off you go

But then Willis who hadn’t really put a foot wrong all game then decided to listen to a shout back to the goalkeeper that wasn’t on.

Will have to watch it again. If Burge had made a call for it he wouldn't have had to try and run so far to get to it.

Burge was at fault. His starting position was poor and he should have come for the ball earlier. That put Willis in a position when already under pressure to do something and then when he came for the ball it was too late.
Defence don’t know what to do with him.
He’s all over the place mentally and needs a break.

Robins suggested in his interview that Willis shouldn’t have listened to the shout - not sure if that was Burge or someone else but maybe he was caught in two minds?

Last minutes, 1-0 up. If you are in two minds you don't put their player clean through with a soft header. You put it as far out as you can.

Willis very naive for someone who has played so many games. Blame solely at his door.

Just watched Cardiff v Bournemouth and from about the 70th minute Cardiff defence just cleared their lines, if in doubt they put it out and that was with 2 goal lead.

Im one of Burges biggest critics but even I can't blame him for that today. Willis has to tale full blame for it.
Only thing (with hindsight) the player knocks the ball past Burge before he got contact so by the time the tackle from Burge comes in, the ball had already left play. Clutching at straws but had Burge left him alone, he'd probably of just over ran it for a goal kick.

Has Burge ever saved a penalty in game?
Yeah, a couple.
One springs to mind, Mowbray season, Milwall away, 2 mins in, saves pen, we go on to hammer Millwall in there own backyard
