Then bring on JCH for the 2nd half. Oh, hang on a second. . . . . .Nah, just stick Hiwula there.

Yeah the touch the player got was really heavy. No chance he was going to get it.Im one of Burges biggest critics but even I can't blame him for that today. Willis has to tale full blame for it.
Only thing (with hindsight) the player knocks the ball past Burge before he got contact so by the time the tackle from Burge comes in, the ball had already left play. Clutching at straws but had Burge left him alone, he'd probably of just over ran it for a goal kick.

My thinking too, but it was hard for Burge to get out of the way once he set off wasn't it? I think his momentum was always going to take him into the player.Yeah the touch the player got was really heavy. No chance he was going to get it.
Would have been harsh, the player had no chance of getting the ball after his first touch.Looking back at the incident, Burge could have received a straight red, through no fault of his own.

Not if they give a penYou can’t get a straight red now can you?
Had the benefit of seeing the replay now, frankly It’s just a unbelievable error of a man who played as many senior games as he has.
The way our fortunes have been of late at that stage of the game man of that experience and understanding of his keeper the last few years should take responsibility and take no chances and deal with it given the space he had with little pressure, call or no call you know Burge wont be near claiming it. You save yours and your teams fortunes and take ownership.
This was the man many wanted as captain, he’s showed he level of leadership in that moment.
He’s not the only one tho this season to not take ownership or leadership of a situation, just these errors each week from individuals are more damaging when we’re passing up opportunities the other end and it’s telling in a younger looking side a the season goes on.

Although I wouldn't put anything past the dreadful officials in this league anymore, the rules have changed and that challenge isn't a red card offence anymore.Looking back at the incident, Burge could have received a straight red, through no fault of his own.
No, if the player makes a "genuine attempt" for the ball then it's a yellow card offence. You can’t get a straight red now can you?
Wow you really hate him dont you?
Maybe MR will put your great white hope back in
Usually Burge’s insane, lunatic runs out of goal are entirely down to him but he was hung out to dry yesterday. Bakafuckwit and Willis owe a few rounds to their colleagues on top of the free bar Craplin already does
Double like if i could.
Burge was no was at fault yesterday. Willis had complete brain fade.

Mis-communication between Burge and Willis? perhaps. If Burge has called for it, he's not close enough to Willis to collect the ball? perhaps.
How about we give some credit to the attacker's great anticipation and not giving up on a ball? Definately.
Depends if its a genuine attempt to get the ballNot if they give a pen
Indeed he did, no need for the comment regarding Guardiola trying to detract from my point though. He’s outfoxed Willis and Burge

Irrelevant, as it's not the managers fault a mix up happened between 2 players (perhaps) and an oppo player capatilized on it.Think it’s relevant, not exactly full of tactical nous are they? Only our strikers wouldn’t have capitalised on that.

Irrelevant again, try sticking to the point being argued/discussed?I think watching our God awful strikers has lowered your standards

Off topic...are you by any chance Fishy Moores, Scotland Sky Blue from the GMK days?
Hate him? Think that’s far too strong a word. Critical I prefer, and I think he’s come in for far worse criticism than what I’ve offered in opinion.
Just wish you had same analysis for davies
You assume I hate him as previously I’ve talked about his flaws switching off, being bullied by a more imposing striker and possibly selling him as he held the most value.
In fact I’ve been very complimentary of his step up in performances and ability over the last 12 months when he’d stopped them silly costly errors he showed again yesterday.
But as I said at the bottom of my last post I assume you disregarded as it didn’t suit your though process that he’s not alone in the costly errors that are hindering our season.

Harsh on Burge and Willis, but thats your opinion. It’s not though, people deserve credit for praiseworthy things and beating Dumb and Dumber to the ball isn’t one of them. Never used GMK though did read it in the 2000s.
