Well it's not an exciting watch but it is about time we stopped conceding so much and we have to start somewhere. We'll go at them in the second.

Not been pretty but impressed with how we’ve defended the box and kept our shape. Haven’t been able to say that about many of our games this year if any.

Not sure what people were expecting but we were never going to have much in the way of possession here.

No shots on target
No shots at all come to that.

I guess a clean sheet would give the defence some confidence,

I’m actually encouraged by that first half.

We’re up against a team that will probably go up automatically come May.

We’ve started 3421 and shown flexibility to change it up. We don’t usually see this.

Yeah, a little more control and care further forward would be nice but we’re still in this.

Let's see if Carr changes anything. Possibly Rudoni for Saka and Simms for Basette

The yellow for norm has been such a blow.

I know it’s the rules but they had 2 players asking the ref and Scot Parker having a go at the 4th to get the booking

My only concern that half is I want to see a bit more from Sakamoto and Torp in the second half.

Some good performances there so far though. Dasilva (ignoring the dodgy header back to Collins) and Lati both had a good half there.

A strange game to assess. We have defended and pressed brilliantly, but we have been incredibly sloppy in possession giving a lot of cheap ball away. If we are going to get a smash and grab we need to have better quality when we do get the ball. I'd be tempted to get EMC on for Torp now that Lati has moved into the midfield, and keep Tats on the right

You'd take a 0-0 at full time so 0-0 at half time is fine. As we have a strong squad 😉 we may even be able to make the changes needed to nick it, but let's see.

The commentators mentioned Burnley have conceded 2 goals all season at home.

We were never going to come here and just attack them

If it’s all we’ve got then feeling slightly underwhelmed.
If it’s a ploy to get the crowd restless and then we smash them on the break then I like it.

We have defended really well as a whole team. Carr has got us well organised. We just haven't used the ball well enough when possession is turned over. Torp particularly has struggled getting involved. Think Rudoni might be on soon for him. Burnley have not given us any time on the ball, which has made it difficult. Hopefully they will tire in second half and there will be more space.

DaSilva playing well… not put a foot wrong. We are quick to criticise but let’s give some praise aswell
