The more I think about it, the more I think Doug and Robins had a proper row after Derby and it was an emotional, reactive decision.

To not have anyone lined up to come in before sacking a manager that was in top 6 form is so fucking naive.

Top 6 form? We were 1 point off relegation

We were ok at the weekend, but there is no denying that our piss poor defence is going to lead us into real trouble unless addressed in Jan transfer window... we just need a couple of competent defenders then we will at least be safe this season...

What a depressing thing to type after the highs of last season....

Shit and horrible game, mediocre performance, once again conceding due to shit defending and goalkeeping, could have played through to the morning and still wouldn't have scored.

If this is to be Carr's final game as interim, a shame his reign had to end on a whimper rather than a bang.

We are not going to get anywhere with our defence in its current state, it's impossible to have any kind of confidence when the opposition is attacking. JDS is nowhere close to good enough, Thomas seems to wilt over the slightest pressure and I don't know how we keep letting in goals from cutbacks. Do we not work on those??

If Lampard is to be announced tomorrow, I'm happy to get this limbo done and move on to the next phase of the club's exsistence. He's clearly got a lot to do.

Away to a team with the best defensive record in the top 4 leagues.

Not saying it was good, it was shite. Other games have been worse.

And yet against Sheffield united who had conceded 1 more before we played them we had a go first half 11v11 .. so why have we come here knowing we cant defend to try and defend for a draw ?

These arent the best side in the division

We played so negatively first half we simply couldn't get up he gears all game

I think Robins would have turned it around but the performances were honking and our form masked by teams getting players sent off against us
It's the home form that really did for him. It was ghastly. New man needs to at least get us hard to beat on our own pitch again.

Don’t think we’re bad enough to go down, some of the teams below us look truly hopeless.

Can’t see us getting much higher than 17th or 18th however.
There is enough dross in this league to keep us up for sure, but if a new manager comes in and alienates the players and/or over-commits to a new system that doesn’t immediately yield results then it could get dicey. We need someone to come in and be pragmatic now.

1 win in 12.
Absolutely shit performance, same old, centre backs passing out to MVE he runs forward plays to either Sakamoto or Eccles, Eccles goes back to the centre backs and repeat. Dross football.

We need new Centre backs a new left back and a top box to box centre mid. Our defence apart from MVE is absolutely shit.

You can go ahead and offload Bidwell, Kitching, Simms.

Shit transfer window, Asante has done fuck all, hasn't got a first touch, Rudoni nothing but a waste of money, absolutely levels below Hamer, O'Hare, yet 4 Times the price.

We have got too many bang average players, Thomas, Binks, Dasilva, Bidwell, Rudoni, Asante, Simms, Kitching, Torp, Eccles are bang average players.

Let's be honest without 2 new centre backs and quality midfielder we ain't going anywhere.

We made Burnley looked like fucking Liverpool tonight.
It wouldn’t be quite so bad if they were playing up to the levels of bang averag3 players.

Burnley play such a boring game with such a stifling defense no wonder we couldn't unlock anything aside from a few unthreatening crosses. I know see how they've only conceded 6(?) goals all season by lulling opposition attack into boredom and frustration. They do not setup or play for openness on their end. They seem to somehow stand around but close down 3 on 1 almost simultaneously.

Onto the positives:
1. Hound got only a yellow card so is still available.
2. ....... hang on I'll think of something soon.

It's not worth the meltdown.

They were simply too good and will be well up there this season. I've seen some shite this season but I'm not angry after that. Parker has them well drilled and it's a balanced side full of quality.

A new manager has work to do. We've got no settled side. Players like MVE and Simms are underperforming. There's a lack of identity with the formation/game plans.

They really weren't very good at all. They were bang average and we gave them way too much respect.

This IS Robins team with Robins signings!
The shape of the team is his, the midfield is his and the fucking useless array of shite forwards are his. The signings we made this Summer have been largely appalling for the money. Loved MR but he’s left us with a team to rebuild now.
We need a Mcfadzean type no nonsense centre back, someone a bit nasty/ aggressive in the middle and a clear out of these God awful non footballers we have masquerading as strikers. Lets keep Haji and Norman and fuck off the rest.
