They really weren't very good at all. They were bang average and we gave them way too much respect.

They made it look easy. Difficult to break down. A good press. A keeper who was very assured.

Burnley play such a boring game with such a stifling defense no wonder we couldn't unlock anything aside from a few unthreatening crosses. I know see how they've only conceded 6(?) goals all season by lulling opposition attack into boredom and frustration. They do not setup or play for openness on their end. They seem to somehow stand around but close down 3 on 1 almost simultaneously.

Onto the positives:
1. Hound got only a yellow card so is still available.
2. ....... hang on I'll think of something soon.
2. We've done a good job keeping Kitching out of the line of fire to avoid red cards and keep his legs fresh for the tough last month of the season.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see Lampard try and get rid of one of

Kitching, Binks or Lati and
JDS/ Bidwell

He will try and get a young athletic CB in on loan
he always seems to play with 1 enforcer and 1 athletic CB in the mould of Tomori
If our third manager of the season still decides starting Lati and Dasilva is a good idea I might just pack it in.

Franks immediate to-do list
1) Get a new defence
2) Get Wright fit
3) Never play Sakamoto anywhere but right wing
4) Convince someone to give us money for Torp
5) For the love of god, stop playing five at the back.

This IS Robins team with Robins signings!
The shape of the team is his, the midfield is his and the fucking useless array of shite forwards are his. The signings we made this Summer have been largely appalling for the money. Loved MR but he’s left us with a team to rebuild now.
We need a Mcfadzean type no nonsense centre back, someone a bit nasty/ aggressive in the middle and a clear out of these God awful non footballers we have masquerading as strikers. Lets keep Haji and Norman and fuck off the rest.

What utter bollocks

If we can have a consistent front 6 of

Sheaf Eccles
Rudoni
Sakamoto Simms Wright

we know from experience that creates and scores goals.

priority in January is sorting the defence out and settling on a keeper.

I actually think Kitching is the best CB to pair with a new quicker partner.

Top 6 form shut the fuck up you clown 🤣
Seems a reasonable response 👍

Not that I need to engage with someone like you but if the action was a carefully considered decision made before Derby as suggested, we were literally in play off points form. You can’t argue with that, it’s numbers mate. (10 points from 6 games = 77 points).

Dropping Thomas? 😂

Bobby is our best defender by a mile, he’s very good

Right side of defence is sound

left side is shite

Lampard or any other highly paid feck isn’t going to get a consistent tune out of this bunch of misfits. You’re not gonna turn the likes of Mason Clarke and Thomas Assante ( cunty doubled barrelled named nonsense) wasters into great strikers without casting a magic spell on them 🤦‍♂️

Thomas is definitely not shite
How many goals have we conceded recently when the ball comes in from the left and a striker gets in behind him.

because he’s blood and thunder he gets a lot more leeway than other CB, fact is he’s part of an extremely leaky poor defence

Like Lati being miles out of position at the weekend?

And yet last season he was part of the 9th best defence , so the regression is probably not down to a young bobby thomas , we conceded 12 goals in our last 6 games we were one of the better defences in the league

Thomas has a place. He’ll make the odd block and head the odd goal. But he’s so limited defensively, especially positionally. Reminds me a lot of Paul Williams. Gives his all but often does his best work correcting his own mess.
