Doncaster equalised against Gillingham. A smidgen of good news.

So today has been a write off it sounds like and our draw midweek has seriously cost us. Great! :(

TM will now definitely go after a new CB and CF.

14 shots 7 on target 55% possession. 2-0 defeat.

Our possession and shot stats are always like this

We have more possession, twice as many shots and shots on target but we lose 0-2. Our defence is simply not good enough (especially GK). Midfield is very weak too.

That was September. We are now in the business end of the season where automatic promotion starts to be defined.
If we're 6 points behind with 6 games left you'll have a point, but like I say there's 19 games left ffs.

That's not the core of the issue, mate, the lack of depth and quality personnel is costing us points. When Lorentzson is finally fit, I'll be glad to see the back of Phillips.

We have a decent squad, but there's too many players injured or unfit.

We were poor. Burton had it easy and won at a canter. Not sure how good they are as we made it easy

We were outplayed in the second half.

In defence we have a real problem at the back as Philips and Haynes not good enough. Last 15 shocking lack of application, belief and desire

Very disappointing week. 2 home games and only 1 point to show for it. Need to turn our form around quickly if we want automatic promotion.

Typical City get a big crowd and don't get anywhere near a win.

There's no way we are going up automatically, no way we are going to miss out on play offs. So I'll see you all at Wembley

We've got to January before losing at home, we struggle to get out of August without losing most seasons!

We've lost to the team top of the league.

We're in a play off position and 6 points off an automatic position.

We have the leagues top scorer.

We are intending to make signings in the transfer window.

Yes its disappointing but looking at some of the comments on here and on twitter you'd think we'd just been relegated. We haven't got another game against a top 6 side until the end of March. Get a run of 3, 4 or more wins going and we'll be right back in it. The teams above us are going to drop points between now and the end of the season.
