Timings of the free shuttle bus service for the Swansea game published. Only every 30 mins. Did anyone use it last night? Was it more frequent than that?

I rocked up at White Street at 18:20, hoping to catch the 18:30, bus arrived at roughly 18:50/18:55. I will note, the time is posted for the train station with no posted time for White Street, and it says "pick up time", not departure or arrival time for the bus at the train station.

Got to the ground at roughly 19:15. As I need to travel into town anyway, the service would not really be worth it if a charge is added if it goes live proper, but it's a trial so completely understandable there will be a few bugs.

Thanks. I normally drive from Banbury, so though this might be a good alternative, but I think it'll add a fair bit onto my journey time. eg the first bus after the game isn't until 6pm. I'm normally at home by that time!

Sensibly, they've added a couple of earlier times after the game -

I might give this a try from Beduth, the fact they haven't given a departure time is a pain. Pretty sure they've put the wrong bus stop as the pickup point too.

Is there a charge to park at Central Six, thinking of doing this then catching the shuttle bus?
3 hours max, but the station is £5.50 for weekend parking. They don't do an evening rate so you'd need Grosvenor Road car park or the SkyDome for evening games.

If they keep running these wouldn't be a bad idea to add a stop at the park and ride at the memorial.

I'll be getting the shuttle bus tomorrow; I commute from Leamington and have been frustrated for a long time how difficult it is to get to and from the CBS without driving, if this is successful and is launched long-term I can see it becoming my preferred option

Bus worked well yesterday; got the 12:00 from the station and 17:00 after the game. To the stadium took 25 minutes, from the stadium about 40. Would definitely use again.

Does it leave when the roads are still closed?

We used the service after the game. It was a packed double decker. It took a while and went a strange way but made its way eventually back to White St Ok .

Used it after the game. Straight on it no waiting. It went via Windmill Road, Hall Green Road, Bell Green and down Stoney Stanton Road. Got off at White Street. Pretty good I thought. Would use it again even if they charged a couple of quid.

Does it stop at any of these places, if not that is a mad route to take

Quite funny having a new bus service that goes from one train station up to another train station that has a track connecting them… an improvement at least.

You’d think there’d be a better form of transport between two train stations wouldnt you. I just can’t think what 🤣

Yeah but an improvement with dual trains waiting at the station just need to double up on City centre bound!

Wonder why the Bedworth/Nuneaton trial will not be extended, presume lack of interest?

Anyone use that route at all on here?
