A) the club didn't invest in him. The budget was the budget. TM actually made the point of not asking for extra investment. All the extra staff and doing things like routine maintenance that hadn't been done for god knows how long under SISU had to come out of a playing budget that would have been the same budget if TM took the job or not.

B) I pointed out that TM had failed in his last job in the championship and as often happens in that scenario he dropped a league for his next appointment, thus making him a league one standard manager. You went ape shit insisting that despite his track record he was a premier league standard manager and it was a real coup from SISU and we should all be kissing their butts. This all happened not long before you started to start threads telling us all where he'd got it wrong and leading very quickly up to him having to go.

You've got more faces than a clock tower. You lay all the blame on TM yet if we'd got promoted this season you wanted to give all the credit to SISU.

The only thing that TM was too good for was these shitty owners we're lumbered with.
God you are very dim indeed.

Invested in him meaning his and his backroom staff's wages which were likely considerable compared with the other options at the time.

And as for b) weren't you bleating on about how making coup signings was the "minimum" that you would expect from the owners or something similarly unintelligible....

Refer back to my post....mowbray said it wasn't different to last year so is he lying?

Have you been drinking?
If it was shit last year and cut this year it's still shit so no he's not lying.
Have I been drinking? No but now you've suggested it I think I'll take it up might numb the pain. Get back to me when this is all over

So another manager goes.

I have read much guff on the subject today. I have seen many managers come and go - not too many were sublime (Sillett was the best) but many ridiculous (Gould, Coleman, Adams) and some just plain garbage (Thorn and MacKay)

FFS Grendel, how could you miss Butcher and Reid off the garbage list?

Again. His back room staff came out of the playing budget. There was no extra budget to employ Venus who was an extra member to the back room staff. It wasn't SISU employing him and making the money available to do it, it was TM with the first team budget meaning the money didn't go on players. TM took the job on the understanding that he could use the budget as he sees fit, he also didn't specifically ask for extra budget to do it.

What I actually said was employing the best manager we could was the least the owners should do while the likes of Grendull was trying to make out that the owners had gone an extra mile and got us a premier league quality manager and we should all be bowing down before them in some mass showing of thanks. It's when I said it was the least they should be doing and don't deserve special praise for it I got jumped on with the aforementioned bollocks from all angles.

The same old cunts defend the indefensible, the same despicable shits continue the asset stripping exercise ,.............what are we getting next, information only by social media rather than a paid for website from the club ? Fuck the wankers that hail from Mayfair, you're nearly there now, shame you conned 5500 ST holders again this term and it's a shame so called Cov City fans still try and make excuses for you. You will no doubt continue your litigation regardless because that is your only goal of course, shame on Seppala, Fisher and many others in what you have ultimately destroyed, you greedy conscience lacking bastards.
Shame on the main proprietor and moderator of this diminishing piss poor site too in trying to exploit peoples anger to promote 'clicks' for your own ends !

It wouldn't even have to have been cut to be worse than last year in real terms. If our budget is the same this season as last (which seems to be best case scenario) but everyone else's has took a huge leap forward (which seems very likely as we don't seem to be able to compete on wages) it has the same effect as a budget cut.

TM did not have to go yet. I think he simply decided to go as most of this seasons targets and development have failed proven by the results so far. He can't take the club forward anymore having sorted much of the behind the scenes issues and set the club on the right footing. The budget was still one of the largest in this league and i believe their is still money in the pot as TM's signings did not all come through.
last season was never supposed to be a promotion run as he had not got the foundations in place. As with teams sometimes you surprise yourself and over perform. he knew it would be unsustainable when Arma and co lost a bit of form and so it proved. Should he still have mustered a playoff though? yes I think so by hook or by crrok but the fall was dramatic. So to this season and going one better. Well the transfer market just didn't pan out as we all know for a number of reasons. he decided to wait on some targets while the likes of Sheff Utd bought early. That decision is the one that has placed him where he is today. The kids he hoped would keep it alive while he waited on premiership loanees somehow have just not gelled in place. So here we are today with him deciding to walk as he sees a struggle and perhaps alack of motivation to keep the impossible fire burning. he made his mistakes and is holding his hand up. The sad thing is had he stayed I'm positive he would have garnered a way forward but it seems other issues behind the scenes may way too heavy and he also knows sometimes a fresh change may be the springboard to get things going.
So for me it's not about a series of managers suitable but in this moment we need to find a guy who has a record of motivational achievement against the odds if we are to rise from this latest set back. Neil Warnock is that type of manager we need right now in this moment. Unless of course SISU are willing to back a new manager in January with a few million?

Who has said the CCFC website is shutting down by the way?

So it is exploiting anger by allowing people to vent their anger, where people can come on and discuss it?

I suggest if you want to have a moan about exploiting anger you are looking completely in the wrong direction.

Mine hasn't changed. No need to spin when what Mowbray asked from JS when interviewed for the job permanently is well documented. You've obviously either never read it or chosen to forget it. Look it up some time.
