Regarding Byng
The whole investing in the railway structure around Warwickshire makes a hell of a lot of sense, with what is planned for Birmingham Airport in mind. I can completely see why the Chinese would be interested in that.
What I don't see is why they would need to do it via Mr Byng. Also that whole didn't receive my email was quite shocking really

The suspicious side of me would think that on the PR side of things. Having Mr Byng appearing at fans forums and by chance phoning ML during fans forums, may give the fans hope that if the stadium and club and united SISU will be gone.

Yet you weren't suspicious of two people totally unconnected with the club hawking an American around and holding a forum in Kenilworth?

I think it would help any Chinese bid for the railway infrastructure contact if they were seen as being part of the Coventry and Warwickshire community, if they owned ccfc, the ricoh, et al. that's were mr byng comes in

Actually don the suspicious side of me would say that you only mentioned Paul Fletcher as you know I've met him and would like to highlight that fact.

They are already talking to Brum CC.. don't think these investors need that sort of leverage if the £1/4 billion project Byng was on about comes of, my worry is that the site at the head of the line (nearish the NEC) may be seen as a place to put a stadium. Anything could happen in this crazy situation, you & I will be the last to know.

In the same way an American property tycoon wouldn't need a bloke who owns a spark plug business on the London road to ask about buying a football club you mean?

However the difference is Mr Elliot did have all the right connections and knowledge for Mr Haskell.

By "right connections" - you mean the council? He never once spoke to sisu in any capacity.

He did have connection with SISU as well if needed but the nature of the bid didn't really require that, I would guess.

I don't give a stuff who these Chinese are, if they exist, where they are from or who introduces them. It is my opinion we have gone as far as we can with SISU at the tiller and I also believe our very existence is becoming more and more dodgy by the month. I just can't see SISU just carrying on pumping money into our football team. Will winning this JR make difference ? Can't see why it would to be honest, still making no money from the football side of things, in fact quiet the opposite. and that's the biggest drain on SISU resources in my eyes.

Do we actually have any verification for this? The last time people got all excited about Byng meeting Fisher the photo on Twitter turned out to be of John Clarke.

It's interesting that Mr Byng (and his Chinese partners by association) have been sighted with Mr Labovitch given that according to PWKH, Sisu under Onye Igwe were going to expand the supporter base in Nigeria and China.

It was an odd way to approach the matter but I said nothing but waited for him to come back with a price. He was, I suspect, ignoring the option which gave the Club the right to buy for a fixed sum. I heard nothing more and then he was removed. Ken Dulieu then appeared and I met him in London for him also to say that the Club was going to buy the shares. Nothing happened and he disappeared.
Tim Fisher talks about the need to increase the revenues of the Club. He suggests that the Club has a right to them. He is correct. They have a right to buy them back. Only the Club has an Option to buy them.
The Charity paid the Club for those shares. The Charity must hope to make a return, either through an increase in value or through an income, from those shares. There has, of course, been no income at all from those shares yet. Tim Fisher now wants some of that income simply to be given to the Club because it needs it. It is clear that the Club needs more income and ACL had offered to give up some income: the food and beverage revenues everyone refers to.
I fear that just as that offer is now withdrawn the possibility of the Club now buying back into ACL has receded.
To make the businesses at the Ricoh work efficiently they have to work together in harmony and with trust. That began to happen under Ray Ranson and the Club was able to make savings and increase its income. Perhaps if his influence had been strong enough to stop the Club being distracted by ideas of business expansion in Nigeria and China and he had kept the owners g back into ACL we wong back into ACL we would not all be locked into this destructive spiral.

Interesting that Onye wanted to target Nigeria and now Labovitch wants a who did what forum whilst CCFC is crying out for sensible suggestions as how to get out of this mess. This is why we are where we are. No-one from SISU has the balls to grab the iniative and lead us out. Pursuing the JR and talking about a fictive Stadium are getting us nowhere. Pathetic for such qualified people.

That's an interesting last couple of sentences In the link ,IIRC Ransons public statements suggested there would be little movement In acquiring ACL/Stadia,of course that didn't have to be his policy expressed.

I would hazard a guess this is so the fans say give ACL to SISU so the Chinese can buy the lot.
Well unless I am mistaken the Chinese could buy both and put them together if it was a serious idea.

Unfortunately my point is it rubbish IMO.
Why do the Chinese need to wait for SISU to get ACL.
If it is so SISU get the right price for the club. The Chinese offer SISU the price for the club minus what SISU would need to pay for ACL. Also at the same time but ACL.
In the current climate I am sure they would get a decent price for both.
