This is the point though. Certain bits of the commentary are completely missed out to form a certain narrative. I don’t doubt that you’ve innocently not known about the initial plans but we’ve seen people repeat over and over that the rugby club have never had an intention to share. It’s simply not true.

That's because the media and fans groups push the same lines over and over and over. You have a bloke who is an an ex council leader and involved with the trust completely re-writing history, you have the telegraph just repeating particular things over and over so people just think that.

Fair enough, I've just read that now. Must have been abroad first time around.

That's the thing, he was willing to work with SISU. he put proposals in to work with them.

The council weren't impressed and then he suddenly makes very carefully worded statements from then.

However all we hear is "he would never work with sisu he said so" because it suits.

That's the pr job. So many fans are seemingly clueless about things.

You have ex council leaders and fans groups working together on statements to rewrite history as well.
The morons on Facebook are particularly clueless. Probably better off without them, they are likely to be the twats that continually get on the players backs.

He definitely changed his stance. Assumedly after being lent on, or being informed of all the errors of Sisu's ways.

It is quite plain and obvious that the council have never liked Sisu or the way they conduct business. Didn't one councilor famously once say he could tell us tales about Sisu that would make our toes curl?

I get all that, but at the same time they shouldn't be allowing Coventry City Football club to be getting hurt in the process of all this.

We all want Sisu gone don't we?

If you look at the people shouting the loudest and trying to act the most outraged they don't really seem to have much of a clue.

His stance changed after the council weren't impressed with him putting a proposal in. From his point of view, he can't be blamed for it. He has his own priorities and would need the council onside.

The council aren't bothered if CCFC get hurt, they aren't bothered about the loss to the community if they leave. Their eggs are all in Wasps basket, CCFC didn't get invited to the city of sport stuff. That tells you a lot.

First home game of the season at St Andrews everybody needs to get there backside to our new home ground and support Mark Robins and the team he is putting together. Show MR we are all behind his team before he has second thoughts on moving on
If anybody needs help getting to the game in anyway, I am happy to help.
Let's get a 20k gate and show all associated with CCC and Wasps we are the mighty CCFC and we carry on and prosper despite them.

You could stay at Grendel's 12 bedroom mansion and I'm sure he wouldn’t mind giving you a lift to St Andrews in his chauffeur driven Rolls-Royce .

Been speaking to a lot of people over the last 24 hours genuine Cov fans and they're not going to Brum, most recognize that there is blame on all sides but they are so distrustful of SISU that they still ultimately blame them for our mess.

Strange how our own so called supporters view this. A colleague at work who supports someone else and really had no time for Coventry is now really sympathetic and feels wasps and the council have behaved outrageously.

They have all behaved outrageously.

There are just two avenues left you would have thought and that is Sisu gone, or Wasps gone.

The slagging off of fans going or not going needs to stop.

All hate should be targeted towards those Wasps cunts imo. And perhaps more so to those who consider themselves as Coventry City and Wasps fans - or any Coventrian to associate with them.

Yep, I am already concerned that we are dividing into factions here with all the talk of boycotters etc. Next it will be 'not real City fans' and 'traitors'.

We need to respect all sides. Everyone has their own reason as to whether or not they are going and why not, if not.

I have a feeling it is going to turn nasty when only 3,000 turn up at St. Andrews

Oh I think we know it will turn nasty. Another strike that’ll fracture the fan base.

I know someone who deserted the club not too long after relegation from the championship, and are now ST holders with Wasps. They also bought a ST for some young relatives of mine who we once tried to get into supporting City. You’ll now see said relatives in a Man Utd or Wasps shirt.

He didn't have an issue with it before he annoyed the council.
You know that for sure?
Well I know differant and not from someone who knows my cousins step brother on my mother's side.

First game, unless there is a massive away following, will be about 5,000 tops I think.

So many are saying they will not be attending games at St. Andrews and despite what some have said on here, other commitments and the added time and cost is a big factor for so many people.

I know some City fans who have to really weigh up whether they can afford to go to a game or not anyway.

The only way this could be made more inviting is in having a big drop in ST and ticket prices, but I really cannot see that happening in view of the expected massive drop in attendances.

And I really do think once it's the 3,000 or whatever, then the factions and fallouts between the fans going and the fans not going is going to get intensely nasty.

My other fear is that Wasps attendances increase. Wasps are surely now going to target those City fans with money in their pockets, but who either refuse, or cannot attend St. Andrews.
Don't think you'll get too many going to stand outside St.Andrews and boo those going through the turnstyles Otis, its a bit different to Northampton when it was definate tactic from the owners. Plus, don't think there's a large hill in Small Heath.

Can't find words to describe any fan who would usually spend cash on the City to watch wasps. Well, I guess I could try! If you don't want to go to Brum that's fair enough....but try the Butts and support a local rugby club if you must have a sporting fix.

I wonder what Birmingham will be charging us for rent.

But then if it is a low rent and Sisu are very comfortable with the situation, what incentive is there then for them to get a new stadium built, considering that is something that they simply do not do.

Obviously as fans, we want the club to be as financially stable as possible, but with no faith in the EFL, the last thing we want is for our owners to be completely comfortable with a groundshare long term.
The same person that told me months ago that D Richardson was part of the Hoffman consortium told me that it was 50k per match.
And.... here we go... I know... its only heresay but.....:
After EU comp, Eastwood went to Richardson and told him that was it, they CCFC, are out... However Richardson said... no, we are screwed financially so get back round the table! Sisu were owing 1.2 mil in court costs but were playing hardball in paying. Wasps wanted it in full... SISU said installments... St Andrews has been on table for a while and SISU were serious about going there...so SISU did some maths but came to conclusion it would make more financial sense to pay 1.2 mil and rent off Wasps... at this point deal looking hopeful and payment of legal costs was hold up.......
He told me this Friday morning....
Will not comment further.. that was it... only passing on what I was told....

There are already people giving it the "go and watch them instead". Them and sphinx will be all over it.
Never mentioned this at the time but last year was in a McDonalds in Quinton, Birmingham. Guy had a jacket/hoodie with Cov United on which was obviously strange, so I struck up a conversation with him in the queue saying I originally come from Cov etc. He was some courier who lived locally but most of his work was in Cov and thats how he got involved with Cov United, helps out behind the scenes, all voluntary like. I thought good on you, obviously likes his football etc. So tell him I'm a Sky Blues fan and he jokes they all loved it when we went to Northampton as it boosed their gates for a bit. Gets his order and as he's on his way out said when wasps turf us out next year they'll get a few more regulars again. He laughed and it was in good jest, but Iooking back he was dead right. I'm hoping it was just banter and not knowing something was on the cards.

The Trust can fuck off. Used to support them but since the egg chacers came to town, they seem more interested in getting one over SISU than actually supporting CCFC.
Aye, the Trust are an embarrassment in regards to this.

I Love City a lot more than I hate SISU.

To be fair anybody who claims to support Coventry City backing Wasps and the council- is a grade A traitorous c**t and probably should be spat at and ostracised for the foreseeable future

Fuck the SB trust. Contrary to what they believe, they DO NOT represent the majority in their views!

Come on let’s get behind the team at St Andrews, don’t punish them for the doing of CCC and London Wasps.

I haven't been an ST holder, as i have too many family commitments to justify the outlay, but i WILL be going to St Andrews as many times as i can to support MR and the team i have followed for over 30 years.
As it happens, it will probably be easier for me to get to than the Ricoh, and i'm weighing up the options.
Do i drive all the way and park nearby?
Do i drive (40 mins) to somewhere like Whitlocks End and get the 15 minute train journey to Small Heath (£2.90 return) and walk from there?

When Worcestershire Parkway opens at the end of the year, i'll have a 20 minute drive, then straight into New Street, so possibly even quicker.

But i really would love a campaign to show these stripy cunts what they are missing out on, and get 20K+ there, at least for the first game.

Been trying to come up with a chant, along the lines of the Doyler song (but i'm no lyricist) ...

Whoa-oh-oh, Got no home to go to
Whoa-oh-oh, Wasps have got the Ricoh
Whoa-oh-oh, Playing all our games away
1-2-3-4 ...

Interesting the Trust are saying "respect each others decisions" after Moz went on about boycotting and their Twitter is jut RT'ing people saying how they won't go.
