But normally the optimist
Last season we chipped in and had a box
I had the email from commercial with prices of corporate, boxes etc passed it on to the group ,surprised at the response but respect my mates decisions out of 12
2 of us definite yes
5 of us definitely not
5 undecided
Not looking good but there is a lot of time for fans to change their minds
PUSB did not go to shitfields
Why .?

Enjoy your Saturday afternoon.
Just treat it as an away game and see how it goes. Our group have enjoyed the away games much more over the last 10 seasons or so. It’s August, the footies back and we all love the city. This time of year anything is possible. My wife thinks me and my dad will change our minds. I just can’t see it. I feel if I went, I’d go too closed-minded, and will make effort to not like it.
The only way to see about that is to go!!My wife thinks me and my dad will change our minds. I just can’t see it. I feel if I went, I’d go too closed-minded, and will make effort to not like it.
Just butting in to say fair play for the first post, fair play for the rallying call... fair play for this reaction too.We are all entitled to our opinions
Enjoy your Saturday afternoon.
Yeah, same, but I don't think I am going anyway on Saturday as it stands.got to say, I am really underwhelmed by the thought of going to Brum and I feel this seasons going to be a real slog to get through.
May feel different after a few games but not looking forward to it to be honest.

Was looking forwards to the first game, but in general, not at all.
Im really looking forward to it. Not because of where it is but what it is.
trouble is for me, where it is is a massive factor.
I know a few people are going Saturday to see if they fancy it or not on-going throughout the season, , I hope they have a great day as that will see them attending more games as we need the support but I'm struggling with the whole thing to be honest.
I just mean I am looking forward to the new football season.
It's pretty easy to put where it is to the side to go and watch, just as if its a bit of an away day.
the test will be a cold Tuesday in February after a shit run of results!
Yup. Same.trouble is for me, where it is is a massive factor.

But it is not just about change. It surely depends what the change is and the degree of the change. A change can be good or bad.I am more excited about the start of this season than I have been for the previous few.
Of course I wish we were in Coventry (and in an ideal world not the Ricoh), but we aren’t. We can’t control that, but we can control supporting the team.
MR has built a strong exciting team, which I’m really looking forward to seeing.
Birmingham is a change for everyone, and most do not like change. However, I’m seeing it as an adventure and catalyst to support the team even more. Attendances will be lower, but I expect there to be more of a unity amongst fans; CCFC against the world (melodramatic as that sounds).
Forget everything surrounding the move, just support the team.

If the game was at the Ricoh on Saturday I could have gone. It is at St. Andrews though and now I can't.
Yeah, well that's it. Some of us live in Coventry and have commitments in Coventry and appointments in Coventry and when things come up, more often than not they are in Coventry. It does, but we all know what the change is and have done for months now. I don’t like it, as I say I wish we were in Coventry, but I can’t do anything about it, so I’ve adapted to it. I encourage people to do the same. Don’t let the fact it is a bad change dissuade you without trying it.
Notwithstanding the fact I completely accept some people can’t go due to personal reasons (transport, travel, finances etc) and that’s unfortunate. But in my view, those that can; should.

My mum is in hospital in University Hospital. Had we been at the Ricoh I could have made the match, just, but now I can't.
And I HAVE a season ticket, so that can be galling.
We have had this conversation before on here, not you and I but in general.Yes and the example of your Mum falls under the personal reasons category I mentioned.
I would question the appointments and commitments point though. Excluding last minute, unplanned or urgent events, appointments can be worked around our home games, be that in Birmingham or the Ricoh.

For me it is going to take me a hell of a lot longer to get to St Andrews. My day is going to be much longer. It IS a factor.
You must have appointments or other commitments rearranged just to go to the football. Man alive.
All I'm interested in at the moment is mum alive. You must have appointments or other commitments rearranged just to go to the football. Man alive.

Just checked google maps and St. Andrews is only 6,714km which is 22km closer for me than the Ricoh. We have had this conversation before on here, not you and I but in general.

I know and you don't even know her!!I wouldn’t leave her side for a poxy game of football either.
