I have no issue with people not agreeing with my view, just think if your going to counter the argument, at least come back with a valid point and not one that you made up, can't be quantified after two games and is clearly nonsense when the league contains DM's of Ndidi, Lavia and Winks.

Harry winks is just a name , a player valued less than gus hamer that dropped down a division in his prime years

His loan wasn't terminated at Millwall, he was just out injured for a couple of months and then came back and played at LWB.
My bad. Read about the injury on Twitter and the story must have been modified as it was passed on.

Sign 3-4 players more and really for the first time you can argue we have a full Championship standard squad.
I think this season we'll see that it was never a case of Robins not wanting to make subs, more he didn't rate the subs he had.
Agreed with both of these! There were times last season our subs, frankly, were not good enough to make the impact needed in games.

Offensively, we were carried by Hamer and Gyokeres last season and that was backed up by a really solid defence.

Would be interesting to see Styles and O’Hare in the box. Seems like an Allen upgrade more than a Hamer replacement from his videos.
Hadn't thought about it but Allen is going to be the one to watch. He's still going through treatment I understand. We have no idea how his game will be affected or whether he will be fully fit to play again. So these CM enquiries may well be to cover for the worse-case scenario regarding Allen as well.

Be good to have a comedian and boxer in the side, one keeps the spirits up and the other lays into the opposition. Very loose connection to comedian I know, not everyone's cup of tea

Ok just watched the video. Looks like he will be a fan favourite for sure

Going to help us get up the pitch for counters with his ability to turn quickly and get away from players.

Let's get this done!

It's amazing how the general mood of despondacy last Friday has changed post Saturday's great and much needed win. To see how far we have come in even the past few weeks ,just look at our actual squad strength post play-off final, after all the loans had returned to their parent clubs, and we had released several squad players. It was pretty threadbare, and our 2 star players, had just 1 year left on their contracts.
Come September 1st when the transfer window closes if we are able to sign 2/3 new exciting players our squad depth and quality will be unrecognizable to what it was just 2 months ago. We will have done in 2 to 3 months what most clubs would take several years to do.

Des's singing wasn't bad but to call him a comedian is unfair :ROFLMAO:

Sheaf and Eccles have obviously been excellent in the last game, but if we are signing a marquee player to replace Hamer - who is getting dropped? You could argue there isn't much between those two.

Seems like it might be an uncomfortable conversation topic for some on here, but in reality it is going to happen if we splash out £5m on a central midfielder. There won't be room for everyone.

But it'll be nice to have options, competition and strength in depth.

Remember last year when we had all of our AMs and half our CMs injured and we had to have Howley at AM.

This. is. a. great. post. It's impressive that you've got so many terrible points of view in one post. Greggs would be proud and he's a WUM ;)

We do need another CM, thats a given.

Allen, is a favourite of MR and will get plenty of game time as a backup. His work ethic is to be applauded and thats what we need. We now have more skilled players in other positions. You don't turn your nose up at a work horse.

Palmer & O'Hare are not CMs and up until O'Hares injury. He played 91 games in the previous 2 seasons.

Sheaf is average and inconsistent... christ on a bike 😵. He doesn't always get the plaudits because due to his role, a lot of his work goes under the radar.

Eccles is still developing, he played a big part in our playoff season last year. Now he's started this season flying what more can he do?
Worried Allen may have a career threatening problem. Difficulties with the heart can be serious and it looks like they are still doing tests before they let him compete.
