Look on the bright side, on current form we will have lots of local derbys. Playing Coventry Sphinx, Bedworth United, etc.

Something v wrong when it is clear there is no effort...just like against oxford. I don't mind losing if the players give their all and aren't good enough. But I cannot abide when we couldn't care, give up and lie down. The fans deserve so much more. This is a shambles. Don't think Cambridge have broken sweat

That's what we need.

Even if it is just going out there and kicking shit out of the opposition every week and winning 1-0.

Exactly right. Couldn't really give a damn how we win at the minute. Any win is a win.

Any predictions for the Venus interview after the game?

Not good enough. Young men with a lot to learn. Fair play to Cambridge. I'm still learning. Tough to take. Still enjoying the job despite the result. Hopefully it'll get better. I'm a miserable useless prick. I don't know what I'm doing. Waffle waffle waffle

You just have to watch other teams in the league, they don't have Messi or Ronaldo. They have a decent mix of League 1 players and play to their strengths.

MK Dons had 2 massive units up front, they won every header so they played to that.

And another, 4-0.

Their midfielder has scored more than most of our players in one game.

The comment that keeps getting repeated on BBC is that we don't look interested and have no desire whatsoever. That's very worrying.

Can't put that down to a bad day at the office.

absolutely no passion whatsoever. You have to wonder if that's MV inability to motivate them of if there is something else going on at the club.

I've watched us lose having played our nuts off often against far better opponents and whilst it's not been great to lose I felt they'd given everything which helped take the edge off. This is just embarrassing today.

The more worrying aspect is Venus goes back to recruitment within the club. Which includes him and TF finding the next poor victim. Selling this club is a tough one and without the ability to invest in the playing side this squad will not change much.

Surely, Venus cannot stay in the role after this. He needs to announce that he is stepping down and start interviewing potential replacements. It's not going to get any better with him in charge of the team.

serious question, I wonder when was the last time a club lost to another club in a lower league by at least 4 goals

Mowbray has a lot to do with the mess we are currently in.
SISY are awful owners, we all agree with that, however they cannot be blamed for the embarrassingly bad recruitment over the summer and ridiculous team selections/tactics from TM and now MV.

League Two/Conference manager who knows the lower leagues, is in touch with the reality of our situation and will recruit appropriately is my choice.

Why is it always someone else's fault? It is the owners who have to be held to account no one else.

He needs to leave the club, I wouldn't trust him to appoint the next manager.
