..and even further back, I wrote "Ode to Ron Atkinson" to the tune of wonderwall....

...if I get really bored, I'll rack my memory banks & treat you all to some choice couplets....

A great effort and I was always a big Marcus Hall fan but it was up against the perennial "Marcus Hall, Marcus Hall, Marcus Hall...Marcus Hall, Marcus Hall, Marcus Haaa-aall...Marcus Hall, Marcus Hall, Marcus Haaaall...Marcus Ha-all, Mar! cus! Haaaaall" which was easier to pick up...
