How many times do we have to go here?
Out investment in the playing squad is in the bottom three of the division. Therefore, all things being equal, that's where we'll end up.
If Thorn's management brings about a run of form, or position that cheats those odds - he deserves credit. If he's unable to over-achieve - like most managers don't - then you need to be able to see the bigger picture
No use trying to bring logic into it MMM.
So if he does well it is because of him being amazing, but if we lose it is because of SISU? What about the posts where people have said how good a scout he is for finding Nimely and Norwood and how the form has changed.
What about the posts saying how we just needed to be patient as Thorn is learning on the job and now we have come good.
I personally don't think our team / squad is bottom 3, I have also said Thorn has done well and made some great decisions so why can't I say I think he got it wrong today with his changes and tactics?
So we win and AT is a genius, but when we lose it is because of tiredness? This is where things need to be balanced.
He took off our only possible goal threat.... We were 2-1 down in a relegation 6 pointer and we didn't go at them. He should have had everybody filling the box, crosses were going in with just 2 players in the box....
You can say he got decisions wrong with he definitely has at times. So if he does well it is because of him being amazing, but if we lose it is because of SISU? What about the posts where people have said how good a scout he is for finding Nimely and Norwood and how the form has changed.

Nonsense from Thorn. Even Marcus Hall doesn't agree!
Nimley was injured and couldn't start.
Platt was injured
McDonald was injured.
Can we put this to bed now about these fantasy changes!!
It isn't logic it is being balanced? Thorn makes great decisions and changes and people say he has done really well, so why not say he made bad choices when he does? I have praised him for his choices in the last few weeks, today they were wrong..
Would tiredness even be mentioned if we had won or drawn? Would injuries have come into it?
Of course sisu and the players are to blame, but Thorn has to take his part of the blame the same as he does with the praise. Was anybody praising that guy who came in to deal with transfers who got Nimely and Norwood in when we were winning?

....and we were unbeaten in 6? So when that happened we still have SISU to blame?
Wasn't fantasy changes, McSheffrey wasn't injured...
Of course we had no choice to put Christie on for Hussey who has been playing with a knock, but we still could have put Nimely on earlier.

I have said he should have taken Platt off instead of Cody. There you go again only reading what you want. Who could a team as low down the table as Brizzle bring on? They could make 6 changes. How many could we make? You would make me laugh, but not in the mood for laughing.
SISU have done a good job of splitting the fans. Some seem to be blind to what they have done. Don't matter though, because whenever we lose we can blame AT for everything
The Nimley who was carrying a knock and wasn't fit enough to start or a different Nimley?
So if he was so unfit why did he bring him on at all when it was too late? The same as bringing on Eastwood when we were losing against Forest even though he was too unfit.

Because people like you would scream " Fucking change it Thorn, clueless" and then ignore the facts if we are told he wasn't fit enough to play?So if he was so unfit why did he bring him on at all when it was too late? The same as bringing on Eastwood when we were losing against Forest even though he was too unfit.
I'm not reading what I want, of course I know SISU are to blame for the squad but when the same squad is playing well and winning nobody even mentions them. It doesn't really need to be said that a lot of the blame is at SISU's door does it? Just because I say AT should have done this or that, doesn't mean the players or SISU are 100% blameless. I just don't see why AT is amazing when we win but SISU are wankers when we lose.
Yes, they could make 6 changes but so could Hull if they wanted to and we still beat them didn't we?
Even if we had 11 youth teamers on the pitch, he should still have gone for it at 2-1 down. If we lost we would have lost but tried.

What about the posts where people have said how good a scout he is for finding Nimely and Norwood and how the form has changed. Try reading......we all know you don't want to comprehend what you don't agree with.....AT is not blameless, but why is he shit after taking us to a 7 win unbeaten run with a hard run of games.
What about the posts saying how we just needed to be patient as Thorn is learning on the job and now we have come good. See last comment

So you must think a lot of our very small squad. Get real. Not enough experience and not enough players. I was quietly worried on how the younger players would handle the pressure today. You could feel how tense it was. Means nothing to you though does it? Just blame it all on AT
But AT can be praised when we win? When we lose it is SISU's fault?
I concede the squad is thin but just looking at today, that performance had little to do with it.
We have been riding high for 7 games and confidence good.
We weren't undone by a thin squad today.
I dont think our squad is as poor as people make it out to be, if it was as bad as some say we would have lost 4 or 5 nil every week
Is this a true fact or just your opinion? 2 games in 48 hours, our opponents changed 6 out of 10 outfield players. Pissing down with rain so not the easiest pitch to play on either.
