11,000 'fans'. At least a couple of thousand who haven't been to a game in a long while (ironically probably since that Old Trafford game). Sorry to sound dispondant about 'support' but it is true we will have a lot of band wagon supporters!
Just a good job season ticket holders get priority I suppose.
I'll be going by coach I think. Had it been a weekend, train and tube would have been a must!

They're aren't many of us who travel away everywhere, most people pick and choose away games, but it just so happens that when an occasion like this comes along everyone chooses to go. Every club has band wagoners, lower league clubs with average gates of 6000 taking 30,000 to play off finals for example. It's the nature of the game and we're no different. This tie will be a fun distraction, nothing more, but I've no doubt they'll be those that moan like buggery in the lead up to the game about how many people are going. Don't get it.

As someone who only goes to a few games a season I'm looking forward to a good day out. I think I've served my appreniceship over the years and I won't feel too guilty about going even though I'm clearly not as good a fan as some of you!!!!!!!
I have a life outside CCFC, a family and a budget, nit to mention time. I'm fortunate that I get to go to home games so sorry if this disappoints some of you diehards who don't like being part of a well supported team because it makes you less exclusive.

Sorry i mean this is what the club should do but i doubt it. arsenal play chelsea the following sat meaning kids against us i imagine as got alot of games. Arsenal got it down as on the wednesday.

How many tickets will they have to allocate? Isn't it 15% of the ground for cup games? If so the ground capacity is 60k and 15% is approx a 9k away allocation.

atleast 10000 will go. Will have a new manager in position by then and may well have a couple of wins under our belt. This is the type of fixture to winkle out the old fans and will be similar to Old Trafford 5 years ago, might even go myself. First went to Arsenal in 1972 when Tommy Hutchison dribbled round the whole Arsenal defence to score in a famous 2-0 victory. Witnessed a great punch up between Arsenal and Glasgow Rangers fans in the open end that day but thats a story for another day.

It's an hour to Euston on the train and no more than 20 mins to Highbury & Islington tube. It would take longer to get to Leicester, Derby or Nottingham on the train.

This info is for league games though, could be slightly different for a cup game but you'd think an adult wouldn't have to pay anymore than £35 judging by that.

Maybe from Coventry but not from Dudley where I live. Just checked, last train back leaves Euston at 5 past 9. So that's 2 season tickets that will not be going.
Don't understand what all the fuss is about.. Seen City play Arsenal many times. Hope you youngsters enjoy it.

I doubt there will be anymore than 3,000 going. It'll take a lot more than a game at Arsenal to bring back the missing thousands.

I went to Arsenal v Man City Carling Cup quarter final last season at the Emirates and it was £20 a ticket, so it won't be any more than that.

I've served my time and seen so much shite it's unreal...when an occasion comes like this, why shouldn't I go? We're all CCFC fans so there's little point bitching about who goes first.
Also to the poster who said "Stubs from the last three games should go after season tickets" No...the shouldn't. They should go to membership holders, membership holders who have paid £25 for that privilege. If you look at the membership page on CCFC's website it's aimed at people who have to pick and choose. Exiles and such.
But I guess because that puts you up shit creek it shouldn't be like that.
i wont be going. done my stint over the last 35 years around every ground possible. Sorry if I sound a party pooper but I doubt this will attract more than 3,000 when the dust settles.

well it certainly wont be like old trafford 5 years ago when we took a good number up there. as it say, i think it'll be 3k max but that's still a good turn out on a wednesday night in London.
