The new series of Car Share was on the other night and it was great.
The two of them have formed a great partnership and although its not a comedy classic, its really sharp and entertaining. Rising Damp,Fawlty Towers,Fools and Horses, and Porridge, for me are the best ever but Car Share is quality comedy.Anybody agree ?

Love it. Don't need to wait either as all 4 of new series already on iplayer. Watched them already and some classic moments. Subtle jokes too albeit a little corny at times and no doubt as with first series I'll spot a few different jokes the second time around.

I liked the cyclist bit I reckon Kay got the idea from the Ronnie Pickering: Don't You Know who I am road rage thing ?
But she's great in it all a real comedy find.

Yes I really enjoyed it, I think there is a great pace about it, also Guy Garvey of elbow playing a part

Without spoiling it for anyone does anyone believe that's it for Car Share?

As there's only 4 in this series I reckon they've shot 6 (or 5 and a longer special) and we'll get a final episode at Xmas. They do keep mentioning the Xmas team.

Yes I love it. Best comedy for years although I loved the Detectorists too.

I reckon it's great! It's not in yer face comedy. It's the clever way it's been written by Kay and co-writers. It just flows along. Brilliant!

I thought the lead in to the 'are you done?' When she was pissing outside the car was superb. You were waiting for a punchline to several amusing lines...& that was it! Totally unrelated but hilarious too

Really enjoyed this series of car share, they do have a great connection and have kind of left it unfinished. I think there maybe more to come

I too have never watched Game Of Thrones so ain't got a clue who's in it. In fact I thought Peter Kay was the Smurf ! I thought it was him playing both parts as he likes dressing up and he has Irish roots.Thought it was clever camera work !

Ah yes, Lord Varys the eunuch, didn't realise it was him at all.
I thought it was very well acted from all parties.

Watched the third with the monkey, a lot funnier.

Reminds me of Max and Paddy.

Max and Paddy is one of the reasons I went right off Peter Kay, that and the yearly release of the same material was lazy coasting. He's come back great with this though, and his role in that Danny Baker thing.

It was difficult getting used to his cockney accent initially
But cradle to grave was very good, I enjoyed his last tour too

Am i alone in finding carshare awful - seems the press and media are banging on how good it is - but it lacks humour for me - compared to Phoenix nights which is quality even now years later - PK recently acknowledged the third series script for PN and as long as he can get back together with Gerry St Clair ( masterful actor) we could be on - as it was written at the right time
