Piss poor half, cutting through us at will. MVE (probably fucked tbf), Eccles and Sakamoto all poor.

Time for Lampard to show he’s different to Robins and change it at half time. Torp and Saka off at the very least.

We’re so open at the back and weak in midfield
Don’t look too bad on the ball but not really potent
We lack intensity and fight
We’ll be in big trouble if we can’t find some backbone
Not sure what the issue is with doing the basics
Incredibly frustrating

Shocking first half. Pleased I'm taking January off from travelling away. Would be fuking travelling all that way to watch that shite.

Just appalling-lacks any cohesion, fight or tactics.

It’s the fucking players again.

Strolling around and not even being arsed.

Typified by our Captain-the perineal ’just not bothered’ Sheaf..

Replace with who though? I would like to see Raphael given a chance though but I have no idea if he is ready or not

My word that was poor! MVE looks shot, no urgency in the play from anyone. Rudoni is a great player , but he is not a left winger.

Hope “super” Frank has the balls to make some changes at half time

Milan summed up our entire mentality with his break down the right hand side. The only thought in his mind was to check back and recycle the ball back to the CBs. Every single throw in the attacking 3rd also gets recycled back to the CBs. They all just want to be “safe” there’s no desire whatsoever to go and win the game.

we (Thomas, Lats, Eccles……amongst others) aren’t good enough to play out from the back without panicking so why are we continually trying when we’ve given it away and put ourselves in trouble a number of times already?

and then we are lumping it up to Simms, again why when it’s not working and there’s nobody around him, if he actually wins the header

this is where Lampard earns his crust now, is he able to change tactics, stop the counter attacks and make us a threat up top? yeah he’s working with what he’s inherited but there’s enough there

The only players that can come out with some credit are Latibeudiere, Bidwell and Rudoni.
Our midfield 3 and Sakamoto have done nothing. Van Erwijk is riddled with mistakes.
Get Allen on for Torp or Bassette on the left with Rudoni replacing Torp.
Individually we have been so poor, it is hard to see how he can alter with subs only. Maybe two up top another option.

Mate stop , it's silly talk .

We played 2 of the top 6 current under robins and 5 teams between 6th and 12th

We actually beat 2 of the top 7

Frank couldn't have asked for an easier start to his reign

We beat the current 6th and 7th mate. One of whom was mid table dross at the time.

This team is absolute shite. It was shite for Robins, it’s shite for Lampard.

If you think Lampard is to blame for that then you need your head looking at

It couldn't have been much worse performance wise but it is still only 1-0. There's a reason why Cardiff are bottom 3 and have 6 points from their last 10 games. Hopefully we see why in the 2nd half.

It’s a poor performance but we were only ever a mid table team. We are only just performing below realistic expectations.

The big concerns are when the likes of MVE and Sheaf get the transfer they so clearly want and when Simms and Wright are sold to get the wages down

I know that we look worse today and against Pompey than we have all season , we have a second half to sort it today
Well yet again we will agree to differ on that one. We played some utter dross with no obvious plan or organisation earlier in the season. Not necessarily worse but certainly no better .

Sorry, I'm not having that. FL has them all week and picks the team. He's the manager, it's absolutely on him.
What do you think FL can be telling them that is making them play like that? The writing had been on the wall for a while - particularly in terms of lacking a creative central midfield player. The centre backs have no-one to give it to who can carry the ball forward. Not sure what FL can do with the current crop. other than (imo) go 2 up top. I would take torp off, move Rudoni infield and bring Bassette on (although I would play him along Simms)
