Match Thread Cardiff City - Coventry City Match Thread - Wednesday 1st Jan

I think that was an accidental elbow from his immediate reaction

Yeah but he played top sides. The performances were better.

Yes the performance at Burnley was a classic.

A point at home against a 10 man team was also impressive

Come on city!!! There for the taking, they've impolded

When he was offside in the first half and carried on playing after the whistle, I was lip reading Robinson and he was telling the ref to fuck off for being called out on it and generally giving him abuse. It was a totally over the top reaction and quite disrespectful to the stand-in ref.

I reckon he's seen that there and decided to take some revenge with a no leniency red card.

Against 10 men, and a team in the bottom 3, we have to be expecting a win now.

Thats not an unfair ask.

Manager and players to step up now.

And most importantly, Simms to show exactly how good he is.

There’s been times he’s held up the ball when Bassette would’ve gone to ground and screamed at the ref for fuck all. The physicality between them is worlds apart

Well one of them is built like a fridge and the other is built like a bus ticket so they kind of have to play different games!

Well.. I've said before it's better to be lucky than good & we won't get much more good fortune than we've had in both games vs this lot.

Simms in form hits that early and scores
