Hopefully tonight isn’t a damp squid.
What do you mean pacifically ?

Yours is much more intellectually relevant than mine (and this one was at least once accurate), but I have an irrational hate for the amount of people who call it the 'Premiership'. It hasn't been called that for 20 (twenty) years!!!

I still call it the Prem 😂

Hope not. Played the box against them last season and it was a shambles. Back to Sheaf instead of Allen for me given Cardiff’s height.

Middlesborough have a tall and physical team too and Allen played v well against them. He breezed past them in the midfield.

Allen looks good this season, in fact, I’d go as far to say he’s on the path to prove a lot of naysayers, including myself, wrong about him.

Agreed and I was a naysayer as well about Allen. However Cardiff are more of a set piece team that Middlesbrough and if we play Allen we’ve only really got the 3 CB’s and Gyokeres who can win it in the box

This is where id like to see Ohare/Allen/ or maatsen even on the half way line attacking when they get a corner or free kick! Just to occupy a few defensive defenders.

could be a good tactic, couple of nippy players staying up and they have to cover them with somebody, not sure Flint and Morrison would be them tho.

Really not concerned about the physicality tonight, Middlesborough were a big physical side and we more than matched them.

I doubt Allen will come up against a bigger CM than Crooks, and he has his best game in a CCFC shirt.

Side note - Crooks is overrated.

We have to play our game and let our attacking play worry them, rather than changing to mitigate.

Predict Dabo and Maasten (if he isn’t replaced by Kane), to be even more key than usual tonight.

Sales looking pretty healthy in the East Stand. I'd imagine the majority of those left will be taken up by the walk-up tonight, 17k+ again would be good.

As long as it was over £50 then its fine. Keep your receipt though as they can take 2 weeks to request it.

Order your weeks shopping click and collect for after the match - job done.
They work on the basis of guilty unless proved innocent - ie there APNR detects you have been there for over 2 hours so send out a fine (regardless of your spend), which you then email your receipt and it is then cancelled. sounds a faff but In reality they hardly enforce it anyway, an on off chance you do get a fine, it is easy to upload and clear up quickly...

Just checked Cardiff forum and the regular comments are coming out ....

" But it's a game we should look to be winning."

" A win at Coventry puts us right back in the mix..."

Big boy attitudes. We'll prove ourselves against some big clubs this season and here's hoping it continues tonight.

Though for predictions and my continuing ability to get them completely wrong, I still expect a Cardiff 2-1 win.

Don’t see the issue with the comments? Perfectly logical and fair to me

You know what annoys me about half these clubs - Reading, Cardiff, Middlesbrough to name them - we’ve had a bad 10 years. We’ve history that those clubs would dream about.

Middlesbrough and Reading have won fuck all, and Cardiff could possibly make a claim for being similar but their Main top flight stay came in the 20s.

Just narks me when people dismiss the club and what Robins and the team have achieved in a manner that we should just roll over and let them win. We've a chance of going 3rd tonight and that's not luck, it's earned. Comments like "It'll be a tough game against a good side" would be more balanced.

Middlesbrough have been out of the 2 top divisions for two seasons in their history

May have predicted 2-1 to Cardiff on that tweet league thing…

Think we’ll beat Millwall on Saturday though.

No we havent had a history that they would dream about. That’s the arrogance we accuse such teams of.
Our history consists of 34 years in the top flight and one FA cup and a checkatrade trophy. Hardly Wilf Mannion, Brian Clough, Graeme Souness, a UEFA cup final, a league cup win in 2004, finals and a robust history.

That in itself is more trophies than Middlesbrough. We’re made out to be some tinpot outfit by them teams. When in reality they’re not as superior as they make out.

Reading really mystified me

Thing is, most of them are going by what they saw last season and tbf how can they do anything else, The new and improved Robins machine will give the feckers something to think about tonight and we will surprise plenty of other feckers that mark us down this season.
