Love how direct he is, no matter where he gets the ball his first thought is how do I get towards goal and get a shot away.

His energy is first class too. He started his run for the goal inside our box.

Where the hell was this player last season? It looks like we saw he would be too good for us to afford if we played him so kept him secret to keep the value down.

Can someone explain this free kick thing where hamer wants it placed literally as he's swinging his foot lol
I don't get it either. Waghorn places it, Hamer takes it. Waghorn is now standing next to Hamer and unable to have any impact. Surely it would be better to have the extra body in the box?

Someone posted it earlier but that is one of the most comfortable 1-0 victories I’ve watched.

Moore didn’t have a save to make did he? Hyam was class and not sure he lost a header!! Waghorn and Gyo’s feet were like glue, everything seemed to stick and their runs were constantly dragging dragging Cardiff’s defence all over the place.

Great atmosphere again but not sure there were 1500 Cardiff there! Even if there were their support was very quiet which I think is a testament to how much we controlled the game.

Only negative is Dabo’s red but was just a rush of blood to the head but with Kane slotting in, hopefully, it won’t have too much of a negative effect.
We did play well but let's keep our feet on the ground
When Collins went up for that header it looked a certain goal, I was amazed when it went over
Anyway don't want to be a wet blanket as it was a terrific game
But we need to finish teams off and score more goals in the periods we are on top

You can see opposition players going ‘WTF’ when he tries to take on 2 or 3 of them on his own, then he has the strength and footwork to actually do it. We need to get more players forward to support him in those areas mind

Strange that we're 3 points ahead of QPR who looked a real quality team at Loftus Road.

We played them off the park for the first 60 mins. They should have been dead and buried before half time.

This is correct imo. We’ve scored the least goals in the top 10, only 8 in 7 games, although tbf worth noting that we’ve also conceded the joint least (alongside Fulham) in the entire division. If we want to be challenging for the play-offs we’d need to start scoring more goals per game I think.

Team were amazing yesterday, gyorkeres was superb, what a signing he's been. Would have been nice to get a second goal though. Stupid foul from Dabo.

Another amazing performance. Loving the direct nature of our passing. Genuinely we are playing beautiful stuff. Dabo challenge very close to me and I though probably a red in real time. Gutted. I worry about Kane, let’s hope more mins on the pitch calms him down. Wish I was going to Millwall now…..

I agree but to limit a side like Cardiff to one real chance in the whole 90 minutes is pretty good going especially with the size and strength of their team.

Let’s be honest the start to this season has exceeded pretty much everyone’s expectations and for me top half mid table at the end of the season would still be a massive achievement.

Agreed LG. Meant we can really mix up our play as well which hopefully leads to less goals conceded from fucking about in own third. He wasn’t fit to start with, young lad, in and out of a struggling team (did he get covid or an injury as wellSwansea would not have played to his strengths either. Saw enough at end of the season to be really pleased with the signing but didn’t expect this. No way would we have got him if he was on this form.

Fortunately for us we’ve got Robins, coaches and scouts to judge players and not some fans after a handful or even one or two games, or even no full games 😊 (Moore, Wagthorn etc)

Been said before but a bulked up Hyam looks a totally different player this season ! They’ve all learned from last years experience at championship level. Sometimes just a bit of patience and confidence is all players need

Love the way they abandoned their long throw strategy after we were getting quality breakaways. Shows a team thinking about the oppositions strengths that does. All credit to us

we do the same routine each time and with different players. Been doing it since the start of the season.

allways 2 at the ball. Who ever places it the other kicks it as soon as the ball is down.

All teams have two over the ball and quite like the placing of the ball as he hits it . Adds a slight confusion. Not sure who to though...us or them 🤔

Anybody else think if Godden was at full match sharpness he'd have got properly on the end of the cross from Gyo? Thought they linked up pretty well when Gyo came on

Was at the other end of the ground but looked to me like it wasn't a great cross but didn't have the best of views

Fucking hell lads, I wasn’t going to go tomorrow cos the kids can’t go and my Dads on holiday and I hate going alone. The missus just asked out the blue if she can come. No interest in football, never watched a game before, no prompting from me. What is going on this season? Something special indeed.
Did she enjoy it?

Haha she did in her own way, she was people watching a lot and waving to her mate on the other side of the ground and kept asking “what are they singing?” Or “who’s that guy with the funny flag?” Or laughing at players falling over then being fine. Also said if people are going to smoke spliffs in the ground they could at least share 😂

She has sensitive ears and said it got too loud for her near the end “after everyone had had a few beers” then looked confused when I was smiling and saying it’s so great to hear that 🤣
