Cargill and Stephens to both play on Sunday perhaps? (2 Viewers)

Why leave him out as much as possible? Why would you do that? You play your best team surely and pick the team that can win you the game.

We can't think about not having him next season, we have to think in terms of how he can help us get promotion THIS season.

If he can do a job and he's professional enough to be up for it, you pick him.

I would maybe just leave him on the bench for Sunday though. Maybe let it all sink in for him, but after that I would very much expect him to be a vital part of our match day squad.

Sort of hear you, but he hasn't been great recently. And before you shout 'who has'...I really want to see Lameiras get a run of starts!

To be honest, I'd pick Cole over Maddison all things being equal, and as we won't benefit from any game time he gets any more, the incentive to play him is less. Also, if you leave Bigi out we have no-one on the bench for 2 midfield positions.

RCC
Lorentzson Ricketts Cargil Stokes
Rose Fleck
JOB Cole Murphy
Arma

S: Burge, Stevens, Haynes, Bigi, Lameiras, Hunt, Tudgay/Sambou (is Tudgay fit?)

I thought one of the new centre backs could play deep midfield

Stephens needs to play as center back and will.. mowbray really rates him

Then Ricketts to RB, but I'd be worried about playing either two young CBs or two right sided CBs. Cargil seems to be the Reda replacement. To be fair, any combination without Ramage is an improvement.

Yeah I'd be worried about playing both, but the fact Stephens is older and has league one experience I would bring him in ahead cargill.

I would play both flanked by lorentzen and stokes. Give ricketts a rest. If we are to make the playoffs we need to get results again and quickly. The two young defenders (along with Martin) need game time and to forge a partnership

Hopefully they will be doing a lot of work on the training ground between now and Sunday, provided they both understand how TM wants them to play I see no problem playing them both. Think I read somewhere they have played together in the past for England youth.

The weak link as always will be the goal-keeper. Lets just hope they can stop the ball getting to him.
