What a complete idiot, if i was a team mate id have smaked the c**t!

Was no need to dive in especially where he was on the pitch it was completely stupid and totally let Thorn and the team and us fans down as we had half a chance v 10 men.

Absoloutely fuming with the twat.

On another day possible yellow from where I was sitting, also why didn't he send whoever it was who put his hand out on purpose in our pen box.
Of when roy o donovan was dragged down by the neck, or when juke was dragged down through on goal...
Awful ref.

the bloke is a complete clown, there was absoutley no reason for him to dive in like he did, their player was facing the touchline had nowhere to go and he comes flying in, he cost us this game, we were in complete control and i feel we would have won quite comfortably.

Did anyone actually see it close up? From my view half way up CET stand it did look as though it could have been a dangerous challenge, helped out by the 4 rolls that Wellens completed before coming to a halt. But i did hear it wasnt as bad as that view made it! I think the ref felt like he had to even things up. Mainly because of his own inconsistancy. It was a silly thing to do either, especially after seeing someone see red for a similar thing 10 minutes earlier.

This was my feeling, although I say that having not seen a decent view of it yet so the Beeb could prove me wrong later.

It's stupid to dive in there either way of course, much like Vassell was.

I was sat in the CET, neither looked like a red to me but he had to send Baker if he had sent Vassell!

still weren't looking like scoring when we were 11 v 10 to be fair

not at that point in the game no, but it would of told later on in the game, passing as we were, we would of worn them down sooner or later.

maybe but don't forget they would have got men behind the ball and we are not really an "unlocking" side. End of the day if Vassell goes, Baker goes its the way of the game.

Both were sendings off from where i was sitting, Vassell dived in with he studs showing, could of easily broke Keoghs ankle/leg, can't really remembers baker as i was going mad at how stupid he is.

Strange sense of deja vu Im pretty sure he did the same against Millwall last year and got sent off when we could of potentially got something from the game.............

IDIOT

Didn't he kick the ball away against Millwall?

I don't get why Mills was not sent of for raising his hands to ROD?

Thats very true, we were struggerling in the final third but once or twice there were some decent balls into the box, with a little bit more sharpness or a big of luck would of ran to the forwards to slot home.

Vassell's was a shocking tackle. Definite red.

I'm not sure Baker's was. It wasn't a dangerous tackle particularly, but it was a stupid, out-of-control lunge. It probably wasn't a red, but the reaction of Wellens and the fans probably swayed the referee. Even so, there was no need for Baker to do that. Shouldn't have even given the referee a chance to send him off.

Straight red i was directly opposite, cant go lunging in from the side or behind these days, end of the day he made the ref make an easy decision, he let the team down, at least we can look forward to not having him now for 3 games, was virtually anomynous like mcsheffrey

I thought it may have just been a yellow. Terrible decision, and was the ref evening things up. You can't tell me that Bambas' minute-long tirade at the ref shortly before (which was a booking, but not given!) didn't effect his decision making thereafter. Once again, we're beaten by a few old pro's tricks. Maybe we should re-sign Wisey.

No way man, Vassells was one of the most stick-on reds I've sever seen! Two-footed lunge..not a tackle at pace trying to take the ball like Bakers. Vassell had zero intention of that! Filthy foul.

Both were red cards all day long. Disappointed with Baker as we had a good chance against 10 men and he will be banned for 3 games now when the squad is already small. I guess it will be ROD upfront now with McSheffrey in Baker's role.

Although not as bad as Vassells it was a stupid unnecessary lunge that many refs would have given as a red. Not surprised both were red but Wellens play acted and increased the likelyhood of a red for Baker - hate to see that. Baker let us down and i find it hard to defend his actions, the guy has got to learn to be a lot cleverer at this level

As for why Bamba didnt even get a yellow I have no idea because it was clear dessent

Looked like a stupid challenge. From where I was it looked like both feet were off the ground. Le*cester player made the most of it, still deserved a red though. Not the first time Baker's been sent off for something stupid.

That's not the annoying bit though. Even when they had 10 men, we barely created anything. Once we had 10 men we didn't look like we had a clue. We didn't have a plan B... or a plan A. Should have made a change at half-time. As soon as Baker was off, you could tell Le*cester were going to have the better of the game.

I don't think we can have many complaints about the referee. Both red cards were justified, and Baker was absolutely stupid to go diving in when tensions were starting to boil over from the Leicester players. I fancied them to lose another player for a little while, but Baker's red turned the match. Hussey lost all his support, and McSheffrey disappeared altogether. Credit to Hussey today. I don't believe he's a top-level Championship full-back yet, but he's coming along very well, and his runs were very important to us. Same for Christie - very impressive this afternoon. Bell seemed to be taking three too many touches every time he was looking to pick a pass and didn't much fancy running at the Leicester back line, but he was always offering an option. Bigirimana stepped up well, and linked across the midfield very ably. There are plenty of positives to take from a disappointing result insofar as that we didn't learn anything new: we know our biggest issue is the lack of strikers, and that's what cost us this afternoon - that extra option for Jutkiewicz to work with and to offer an alternative route to goal. I'm still not impressed with Murphy...

I was right in front of the Baker challenge, in any other game would've been a yellow. Vassells was a definite red but Bakers was just a lunge from the side, was nowhere near as dangerous. Saying that though, you could see the panic on Bakers face when he'd done it but i think even he was shocked at a red. At the end of the day though, why make a challenge like that deep into their half...

Having seen it on Sky ...... that was a sending off..... cant argue with the decision

From Block 15, Carl's challenge was rash and quite unnecessary- considering that the Deadman had already marked Vassell's card (geddit?), I think he had to take a similar hardline approach to that incident. Bloody annoying, as we coulda done with the advantage, plus I don't know any wingers who could easily fit into Baker's place?

Seeing the sendings off today and then shown again on Sky Sports both were red cards and in fact Baker's looked worse on Sky! Agree that the ref wasn't consistent through out the game, the Leicester player's were allowed to have full blown temper tantrums, strutted around kicking, pushing and general bad sportsmanship throwing the ball away and mouthing off which led to the ref trying the 'even' things up repeatedly. I've no idea how opposition manage to get away with some of the things they do to Juke.
