They aren't playing to their potential, but IMO this isn't a top 6 squad. It a squad that probably should be 10-14th. The squad is seriously lacking in a number of departments and there is different between something that looks like a good collection of players (on paper) and a good squad. For a start our midfield is poor, we have no pace, we have only 1 decent striker, we have no natural width, we have no real competition of places.....
We also have too many loan players and too many players on the downward spiral of their career (tudguy, Johnson, Pugh, Jackson, etc), or stagnating. We don't have many that are on the way up and will be progressing up to the championship in the next year or two and getting in their first team (possibly only Haynes)

tbf we can only judge on what we've seen so far, and thats largely been crap. Baker on the last two years is easily better than JOB has been this season and JOB has been one of the better players!
Although I agree with you, I'd like to see this squad in the hands of a competent manager as I think we do have a decent group of players and Pressley isn't getting the best out of them.
It never use to be called 'Player of the Month' when he was here. The football league realised that he was the almighty God and every month he would receive the 'Carl Award'.
well done Carl, gutted he left we have really missed his attacking flair and his leadership on the pitch. Another disastrous move by the club in my opinion
I have to be honest was never really sure about him when he was here as he always held the ball slightly to long but he is far better than most of this current load of rubbish.
