Well, it is my education and my job, although only a masters not a PHD, so probably not. Everyone's psychology is different and people react to setbacks in different ways. He's been on fire for weeks now though so I don't think 1 penalty miss would mean his confidence would be 'shot again', no.

It’s obviously too complicated for you to understand. Unfortunately with typing I lose to opportunity to read it out load slowly to you. Not sure why I bother but one last try. Have a little look at the bits in bold and it may help you understand.

It’s good that McNulty scored before he missed that penalty otherwise his confidence would have been shot again.

it's such a tight league. 5th and a couple of points of the automatics but if they'd equalised we'd have dropped out of play offs!
Need to win the next couple of league games, give ourselves some breathing space.
