Deffo a weekend motor wrapped up in cotton wool. Certainly look forward to Saturdays growling up to the Ricoh.Well yeah, but it's just for that money unless you had money to burn you wouldn't want to drive it. Same as if it was another old classic.
Would be the odd blast on a weekend
We had all of those in the fleet NW. One of my colleagues who owned a Porsche 928 borrowed a Croma turbo for a business trip and sadly wrapped it up on the M5. Couldn't handle the acceleration lolProper Q car, that
Did indeed. That and the Alfa 164... and Fiat Croma(!)
Had a Dedra Turbo myself, the thing was superb really and I shouldn't have got rid, really. Just a square box, but used to scare people shitless when it took off, the turbo lag was... enjoyableand its cruising speed was well above the speed limit... apparently.
Most curious behaviorA lad at work has a lotus Carlton. It's absolutely battered he reverese it into a fence nearly every day when he's parking it.
It probably does 0-60 in sub 6 secs in reverse so fully understandableMost curious behavior

Nick have you seen the old one on Newdigate Road? When you see them on a drive you realise how big these old US cars really are.
The red V8 reminds me of the ZZ Top album cover, "Eliminator".Saw these at a Classic Car Show on the island a couple of weeks ago...........
.
....said the vicar...How did you get into the back doors?
The thing I liked about those old cars is how when you drove them, you could see the bonnet in front of you. They may have been there OSB. There were loads. Here's a few more..........
